100% agree. I did not shed a tear when Yeon "died" but I was bawling when Rang died. I'm so upset that he didn't…
Yeah they forced the romance too much and ended up disgusting us from it. I was never a fan of goofy romance, I enjoy it more when it's mature. They really acted like teenagers all the time, it was annoying.
It could have been a better drama but the romance was stifling . Yeon not being really dead was no surprise since no lead ever really dies if it happens in the 15th episode so I didn't cry or anything but Lee Rang's death really hit me hard. Yeon waited 600 years for FL and even him dying for her wasn't as heartbreaking as Rang giving up his family for his brother. That says a lot about how I viewed both relationship. The bromance won over the annoying romance in my case. I don't care that Lee Rang reincarnated, he doesn't get to live with his little family and I'm bitter. I don't like shows where they introduce a "magical worlds" with rules and then those rules don't apply for the main character. The drama would have been better had Yeon stayed dead. Sad for FL but it would have been at least more realistic.
I'm mad because I really really enjoyed the first episodes and just like start-up I ended up liking the second male lead (Rang) more than the first male lead. Yeon was such a cool character, so was FL at first but then once the romance took over the show, both were too cringy and goofy and honestly them goind on dates when people were dying (because she was still alive) was not necessary. Both lead became annoying in love to the point that I would mostly skip their scenes. I swear if it wasn't for the romance, they could have written something way better that this.
Props to Kim Bum and Kim Yong Jii who captivated me the most. Both of their characters had interesting backstories and they were the only one with really good character developpement. I enjoyed both of them more than Yeon and Ji-ah and I think a lot of people would have dropped the show if it wasn't for Lee Rang
I have no problem with someone's degree. But, I would Agree if you answer this question; In case SDM is interested…
Exactly ! Diploma doesn't make your value. It's just a piece of paper. But college does help you with risk management for exemple. It help you in term of smart decisions. Now you don't go to college, you don't learn that, fine. At least she has her experience. But hey look that's not even enough! She's still out there making the same reckless decisions. The comments about her not having a diploma isn't about the diploma itself but the education that she lacks. Her experience doesn't compensate for it. You'd think that having HJP in her life would help... But at this point it's speculation, we don't know her final decision yet... but we do though aha (Not native and it's late, ignore the typos)
and im still not over the fact that they showed us hjp confused about his feelings, realizing his feelings, nurturing…
I feel like they counted on NJK's popularity way too much... That we would root for him no matter what like "hanw hjp is so cute, poor baby, but NDS for life"... well nope
It was very fustrating but the viewers made it better, I loved reading every single one of the comments on twitter and reddit and now here, even the ones that belonged to the circus. Y'all made it fun!
It would make sense that he will do it again. Because he has never been punished for his mistakes. Even when SST…
You know what? When I saw the flashback in the preview I thought maybe she's thinking : "we sailed without a map because I thought that was NDS from the letters, we did it because I got the idea from him and I thought I was doint it with him, but it wasn't even him. I sailed without a map with a total stranger and the real NDS from the letters aka HJP would never have agreed to it. It was all luck. And it didn't even benefited me in the end. It was a decision made by something I read years ago, based on my emotions, and it was reckless."
