ahaha well, that would mean the writers would have to actually aknowledge the bad writting of their main characters and I don't see that coming either. I want to believe that the writing went sideway after the growing popularity of HJP, because it took 2 years to write that and it would be so bad if that was the original plot...

The bad rating is not about Jidal or Dodal, it's about all the inconsistencies and plotholes . The writing is bad, even if Dalmi decided to do a 180 and chose HJP it wouldn't have made any sense
