I loved it! Love the production, the actors and storyline! I do have to say it was kind of fast as in years passing by to then showing a new year for me but it still had a good timing in keeping everything in place without feeling so rushy. Every episode had such a good storyline but let’s not ignore his majesty being a bad person. This man- all I can say is that i believe he changed his mindset of things later in the last two episodes. I believe he felt resentment for killing those innocent people who the queen loved. Also I can tell he wanted better by letting the other son take place as king. Wish there were more episodes with king sejong as his younger self, very handsome. Oh and I would have loved to see the bad suspects get payback when king sejong was king cuz he would’ve snatched them up.

Acting was amazing!! I have seen Cha Joo Young in the Glory and wow she is a amazing actor. This goes for all the actors. Loved the actor for the king too even tho the character was getting on everybody's nerve.

Beautiful Show!

One of the best storylines. Pursuit of Jade has a bit of everything, comedy, sadness, and good fights. One of the best dramas with beautiful cinematography and soundtrack. The soundtrack matches up with every scene and I love that. The fighting scenes with Changyu were too good. I would have loved to see more of Wenkan’s ending, he was shown a lot in the beginning and throughout it but by the end he wasn’t shown as much just a scene at the end where he is watching his grandfather leave. Some scenes I feel like needed a bit more of explanation but other than that I think it was well paced and not a bad ending. The directors did amazing with this drama. They chose really good actors that ate up their roles and none of them missed. 10/10 I will definitely rewatch more times.

I watched this drama like a few years ago and I am just now doing a review for it but I want to start off by saying that this is one of my favorite chinese historical dramas. I have rewatched this like two or three times already and i know i will rewatch more times. The cinematography is sooo soothing, refreshing and by that I meant like it just feels calm at some points. It is a long drama but it was executed very well with how they developed this story. No rushed ending. My favorite is the acting, all the actors did amazing with their characters!! And loved how some joined in later in the drama and how some got their punishment for the stuff that they did. Overall one of the best!
