For me the scene showed it quite clearly that she behaves that way not because she has no feelings for him but because she believes herself to be broken. All this "I'm my father's daughter so if he's evil I'm evil" completed by "the sooner you leave me the better for you" with a sad song about pushing your loved one away... that's what gave ot away.

For the question of why: I guess it's because his race is cursed to be colourblind, unable to taste anything and have little feelings so he wants to experience the real life.

Also, he went through some rituals needed to become human and still has all his power. So maybe he can keep them after becoming human.

He's supposed to become human so I guess he's going to lose the power. Honestly, I'm also worried about this as it would be such an undergrade.

She didn't bother me so much during my first watch. But as I'm rewatching it she's frustrating as hell. Her whole storyline is bad. She's determined to be with a guy just because he looks nice. He gives her negative signals all the time yet she stays believing one day he'd fall for her. The worst thing is that he actually does fall for her in the end which is super unbelievable.

Same for me. Also I wonder that sommeliers don't drink wine while tasting. They spit it back so they won't get drunk and can taste another wines with clear head. So why FL had to drink beer all the time?

The cheesy romance is between ML's secretary and FL's team leader.
Check the actors and you can see they are supposed to be the comical part of the drama.

It's a cheesy romance between secondary characters. They are mostly for fun without any deep conversations, meaning or emotions.

There's also a story of unrequited love.

The relationship with FL's mother was done quite well. The FL got some therapy and support to deal with her mother. It was showed that the mother also wanted to reconcile. So that one was quite believable.

As for the reason why the sister-in-law let go of her anger it was the day when she almost killed her daughter when she tried to run over the ML. Maybe it was a little bit unrealistic but let's say the daughter was the only thing that mattered to her. So almost killing her could have made the woman understand the situation and what her daughter was asking for (when the girl said she doesn't want the company just normal mum).

Maybe they could. But why bother? The only purpose of this character was to create problems so the main couple could overcome them. Why waste time and effort on adding some layers to such a character. That way she's totally black character while viewers have no reason to doubt the ML.

Yes, but it was more a comic relief (in a comedy drama) than a proper romance.

Perfect summary. It's a nice watch but nothing great. The villain is villainous, the friends supportive and everything is resolved because of the power of love (that heals traumas and all problems in life).

Shared sentiment. I really shipped the FL and the husband together. And the plastic surgeon was creepy as hell!

I've only watched Blossom (actually rewatched it recently and still liked it).
I've seen some episodes of the Prisoner of Beauty and was interested but I haven't see the whole thing (I prefer couples who have better communication and less misunderstandings).
And with the Kunning Palace i thought it was a sad ending so I never started.
