Title Key to the Phoenix Heart Spoiler
Was Li Mao potrayed as good guy in drama or not?
Also, there were moments when LiMao really crossed the line (like stabbing WuYi in the stomach to get him to write divorce agreement). But in the next episode they were back to being besties as if nothing happened.

In the end I didn't feel LiMao really got to point when you could believe he has grown (as a person) enough to be worth WuYi giving up the position of the emperor.

Thanks for the tip about the extra scene. But, honestly m, it doesn't change anything for me. It doesn't matter whose child LiMao is.

I get he needed to find himself as a person so he could become a good ruler.

It just that constant twists he's good, he's bad, he's good and so on... got boring. Too much emotions spent on scenes of fake betrayals left me with too little emotions to be invested in the final episodes.

I'm disappointed by that drama. I liked the dynamics in the beginning. Two friends in love with the same girl, the girl liking one but getting alienated and falling for another. It was beautifully made.
But when all villians in the court died there was no more story to tell.

It was an endless cycle of fake betrayals and fake-outs. Every other episode was "Li Mao betrayed Wu Yi"... then he didn't... then he did... then he didn't. After a while, the drama completely lost its spark.

By the end, I wasn't emotionally invested in the supposedly heartbreaking fights or deaths because it was obvious there would be another fake-out or last-minute reveal.

did you?
Funny. I've just seen it on my watched list and came here to check what it was. But even looking at the photos didn't help. I have no memories about the story or actors.
Says a lot about the drama.

Title Fated Hearts Spoiler
What episode are you on now?
I understand the feeling. I liked the drama, although after the emperor's death it was less enjoyable. I kept watching but I didn't like the arc of saving ML's sister and the whole ML pose "I love my country and want to make its people safe but I won't become the emperor".

Title Fated Hearts Spoiler
I find it interesting that many female viewers dislike her character because in real life, a lot of girls and…
Additionally, even if their story was long and they knew each other for some time (so her being in love would be believable) she expected the guy to change his attitude and fall in love with her in span of few months. She became resentful so quickly that he really didn't have time to develop feelings for her.

Exactly: the problem was she believed herself in love after a chance meeting. She was obsessed-not in love, she disregarded her brother's advice for the guy she knew liked someone else.

So even if I can understand her thinking that one sided love will be one day reciprocated - that wasn't the case here. It was just her imagination. There was no grounds for thinking she can change that man.

Title Fated Hearts
I ended up liking the storyline between emperor of jinxiu and princess of susha so much that I wish there was…
It was a highlight of that part of the story. He was wicked from the beginning but somehow the writing made me still root for him when he wanted the princess to love him back.

Title Fated Hearts Spoiler
THIS!!! i just cannot fathom such an annoying and absolutely person existing in drama land. i just cannot. i have…
I really hoped for the fictional world to get ML as the emperor after the mourning period.
Not only was she stupid and disloyal (literally chosing the man she met once over her family and her country) but also she couldn't have children. It's a waiting disaster for the country to have a ruler who can't have a heir.

The doctor girl gets better. Her bad advises are only in the beginning when she's afraid of the ML and don't know who FL is. Then she's ok.

But on sister I completely agree! She's the plot device to connect two parts of the story (the Susha kingdom story and the Prince of Zhennan story).

i thought Fang Yun was only a strict businesswoman who don't have time to make friends ... i didn't know they'll…
For me she felt suspicious from the start. A specially her hands cleaning habit... I thought she's going to use the FL. But she was nice for so long I started to believe she's a good guy.

The reason she is saying is there were good to her🙄
When you are together with someone for a long time to make new relationships with people close to your partner (his mother, sister, friends).
Those relationships are harder to maintain after the break up but it's not as if you can 'unfriend' them in one second.

heifer if you have the energy to teach me to make porridge - you can go home and make your own porridge - Li Yi…
For me it wasn't out of character. He's spoiled but he's a good person. So while he isn't romantically interested in that girl he still treats her like a close acquaintance - if she's sick he won't make her leave. And he did the minimum and kept the boundaries. For me it was ok.

What a lame selfish excuse not to let her get help
Selfish? You may argue whether the principle was worth they lives but you can't call it selfish.

All the scholars agreed to stay closed for the justice and stayed true to their principle.
It was anything but selfish

Parents like Jun’s need to be kept as far away as possible. What a menace! I don’t like the dad either .
I know! It wouldn't be so bad if they only wanted to order him around. But they know no boundaries and keep spying on him, checking his phone when he sleeps.

What's worse he is ok with that. Can you imagine how bad as partner he would be if he continues to think such behaviour is ok. "Honey, I don't be mad I've read the messages on your phone. It's completely normal and that's how you show care."

Why would Qian Fei ever visit her ex’s mom? 🙄
Because she knows the woman for many years and has a relationship with her-regardless of being togheter or not with the woman's son.

Title Love Has Fireworks Spoiler
While i love the bickering n their daily life looking forward to each other, wish Ml keeps the strays like jin…
Don't know which ep you are now, but there's a scene when the girl comes to him unannounced and asks many question to which ML answers: It's none of your business, we are not together and we won't be.
And she says: idc I'm going to still pursuit you.

The girl knows he's loaded and she won't back from underhanded tactics.

Even though the main leads are good, there are just too many annoying side characters. A drama is made up of both…
Exactly, I love the main couple but I'm not invested at all in the other couples. I can't rate the drama 8 if I only like half of it. No matter how great that half is.
