If you use a little imagination you can understand why someone would like to be the royalty. It gives them some power (even if small) but also riches and prestige.

It was only showed she saw him write the document, she burnt the document and then the fire was showed. It could be that the fire has started because of her but maybe the late king decided to stay there and commit suicide? Or someone else intervened.

But if she believes the king died because of her and she feels guilty it makes sense she's so rigid about protocol and rules. She holds to them to lessen her guilt.

I think the amount of men in the drama makes perfect sense storywise. If it's a constitutional monarchy then you can expect the country to be more conservative. The real modern day South Korea is conservative so they had to make it superconservative in the drama. Otherwise who would believe that people still care if you come from a noble family.

I wouldn't be so harsh for him. He's a politician and she was building her career. Maybe he believed there's plenty of time for the romance later?
Her decision to get married was rather surprising and only happened because her family has pressured her for the marriage.
Also, at the moment he doesn't interrupt them, even helped with the official statement.
What's you've seen in the preview is the proposition of marriage after the accident when it became obvious she's in real danger.

That's said I still hope he doesn't get to much screen time with the FL. I just don't think it's so bad at the moment.

I think the father choose to ignore the fact he had another child. And then suddenly he had to deal with the consequences (although I guess his wife was already sick before FL arrived). He's a coward and it's easier to blame the child instead of facing the consequences by himself.

In the first episode I was expecting to drop the drama because the FL seemed obnoxious. But somehow I really like it and FL'character turned out to be interesting.

The drama's world calls the FL a commoner. But in fact she comes from the riches (albeit illegitimate) and was educated in some private school for the elite. She isn't a stranger to the ML.
About the secretary: that was clearly a negligence and went against his duties but mistakes like this happen irl too. And in the drama it was needed to advance the plot.

How people recognise fictional character's cars is beyond me. For me, i thought it was the prime minister until I saw BWS's face;)

It's obvious she's a target. Otherwise there wouldn't be screen time wasted on letting viewers know that the car was in the garage.
What remains unsure is who was the culprit. There was a scene where the Queen and her father talked about eliminateing that was meant to suggest they are the culprit. But it the Jin Mu actor that plays the father so I hope it's a red herring and there's going to be less obvious mastermind.

Any way, I think you ignore the drama's world's logic when you say that young King would be always observed if the queen's father was the culprit. The child was guarded and observed. But for people who are so strict about rules, hierarchy and noble lineage it's simply unthinkable that someone would break the rules and let the child do something against the protocol. He wasn't supposed to be in the residence, even in her car. For them that is such a crazy idea as if they were trying to poison the ML by putting the posion in raw fish food (because they believe that if he's supposed to never eat such a food he would never do that).

I think you ignore the story's logic when you say it would be a plot hole if FL was the target.

I share the sentiment. There's a lot of beautiful scenes but the story doesn't engage.

Yeah, in the scenes with others generals/official he's so easy going he smirks half the time

I also have a feeling he has one face in most of the scenes - the smirk.

I thought about early episodes where he only slightly intervened with the bullies (making them kneel before FL but without stealing her thunder). Then when he let her go to the magistrate alone to safe the manager Yu. In the battle when he asked her with who she wants to fight. When he says I knew you come.

He knows her and accepts her which is great.
Even sending a secret guard to help her doesn't negate that.

If you ask about the scenes I didn't mean any specific episode.

I haven’t watched a C-drama that genuinely kept me interested in a long time. In this one, there are so many scenes that really stir emotions.

I love the relationship between the main characters. They grew closer gradually, but steadily—without unnecessary breakups or misunderstandings. What I appreciate the most is that the FL remained self-sufficient until the very end, instead of, as often happens, starting off great and then handing over the reins to the FL.

And the ML is just <3 He may not have as many macho scenes as some are waiting for but for me he’s easily in the top 3 male characters in C-dramas. From the very beginning, he supported the FL without ever limiting her. He was honest and decisive about his feelings. I especially love those scenes where, despite caring about her safety, he doesn’t interfere with her being herself and doing what matters to her.
A very mature relationship. And great watch.

It was the same for me. I finished the drama but it wasn't entertaining to me after he discovered the truth. I didn't like how the story progress to him proving to her he really loves her. I expected something more. Also too much time was spent on the "I'm invisible" plot and the writer tried too hard to make it serious. Honestly, it felt to me they had to add something like this to the story to show the point that the filter was indeed bad and shouldn't be used for the censorship's requirements and not for the plot. So her disapearing was heavy but boring. Then there's the last episode of cuteness and that's it.

But I have to say I almost skipped this because of the ridiculous poster. The poster looks like it's for a short drama about a kidnapped princess.

It was a nice surprise: solid feel-good watch with no regrets :) I'm not a big fan of any leading actors but it was a pleasurable drama. The FL's actress was super(over-the-top)cute but it was a little bit toned down comparing to her usual acting so it was bearable. The ML's actor has improved from the last drama I've seen him in (which was "Everybody loves me"). Probably the script helped. In the other drama the guy was super immature. In this one he's ok for a young adult.
I liked the dynamics of all the couple, the family backgrounds were nicely done. The group of friends was cool and not boring with constant bickering or gushing. I really liked the 2ML. It was a good character in the story.
What I didn't like was the whole mess of "I need to prove myself before we can be togheter". It would be much better if they were showed united and gaining the approval of the families. But maybe it was because the drama was supposed to be longer (so I heard) and they couldn't really show their process of getting together againts the odd properly. In the end it felt like typical noble idiocy.
Still, I would reccomend the drama for a simply, yet pleasurable watch. I smiled a lot and didn't have to switch of my brain to enjoy the story.

I still wonder what was the purpose of that scene?
