I think she starts with the attitude "let's keep my distance and hopefully they keep theirs". Only to realise she needs to be more active.

Also, we have to remember about the historical setting. If she openly rebelled against her eldres she would be called unfilial and face serious consequences.

At first I thought the comment about answering calls from unknown number was a roast of the drama. The drama's plot is really simple;)

I'd just rather JY was a twisted person with a good goal than a villain through and through.

I wasn't 100% sure it was confirmed he was the strategist.
Being the strategist (same as before) is consistent with his stance "fate can't be changed". Only I don't know why he was interested in taking part in the rebellion in any lifetime. What did he want to achive when he was a monk and helped the rebellion? That would only made sense (was positive) if the emperor was bad.

In real life it probably would affect the baby, DZ rather would be safe. But it's fictional world with the poison of hatred. Can be cured by the power of love ;)

Maybe the question should be: has he EVER been good?
Why we all assume that the monk was a good person. When FL was analysing the book (Story of Enlighten Era or sth) she said there was a great strategist on the rebellious side that allowed them to be successful. In this lifetime she also wondered when he became monk in the previous life.
He might even be a mastermind.

I think the biggest difference with the Double is that Blossom is better paced. I liked the Double as a story but skipped a lot of scenes there.
Blossom doesn't have unnecessary scenes like five minute long scene of a woman and falling petals or sth as it was in the Double;)

I'm really confused about him. In the frist lifetime he was a monk and said FL and ML was fated and were able to change the destiny. Now, it seems he tries to keep FL from intervening with the history. I wonder what is his final goal?

I think thay maybe it seems better developed when you know both the drama and the novel.
As I've seen only the drama it's convincing to me how he turned out to be a villain. It was showed enough times in the show that he was aware of the misdeeds and ignore them. I expected him to turn evil from the beginning and was confused when he had nice interactions with FL's merchant friend.

I feel you. The wait is difficult. Especially as I started this drama by accident.
I thought it was in the "Shows ending this week" section so I checked the first episode and loved the drama. Only later I realised it was "shows trending this week" and it's still airing.

You forget that he was revealed as an illegitimate child. He's no longer secure as the second young master. Also, he saw that Song Mo can be harsh and cruel towards him and won't abandon his plans of revenge for his brother sake.
It makes sense that he joins the villains so he can get himself a new position.
And remember that he knew about many bad things his father did and has chosen to ignore them so far. He wasn't good to begin with so there's no surprise he's turning evil in the end.

After ep 26 I actually like the way it was made. The ML's first reaction to keep FL in the dark about the poison made sense in this story. ML used to be alone all his life and do things by himself so he's first reaction was to deal with the problem the same way=by himself. Also, it made sense according to the historical settings.
But FL fought for the communication and it was resolved quickly. Now, they're stronger than before.
Really well made.

Personally, I have no theory about that old guy. Let's see how it ends.

I agree. He could react so many times before but prefered to turn blind eye.
Even if he's not a villain, he's similar to FL's father. Both their stories show that you can't be a really good person if you are passive. The bad things that happen because you didn't react makes you into a bad man.

Not yet. I still believe FL will make ML see reason again in the next episode.

FL hugs ML but he disentangles from her arms. I don't remember the words but it's sth like "I've promised to protect you, now I'm useless, you're better off without me".
I keep my fingers crossed it's only teasing us and they continue to communicate.
