Real-time tv rating for episode 7 suggests a new Saturday record, but maybe not quite as high as last Sunday. But that does suggest the drama is on track for a new overall record at >14.1% tomorrow. đ
He did the right thing staying quiet and not airing their dirty laundry in public. The others shouldâve kept the drama off Instagram as well. Netizens may be hating on him for being a âcowardâ but for many of us, itâs clear it was the best strategy. In that sense, the breakup is unsurprising. Their priorities didnât align. Even now, HSH is posting memes online, broadcasting everything. Heâs clearly a more private person.
its probably a huge challenge to the writers, editors and director.
True, and they shouldnât have been put in this situation where they had to compromise their own creation and vision just to avoid criticism. It also puts a heavy load on an actor whoâs already struggling, to also feel responsible for the re-editing and the diluting of a project so many people worked on. All to please a culture that loves to kick people when theyâre down.
Inevitably it will be less coherent when theyâre trying to edit out the male lead. Itâll be worse than Bloodhounds.
Itâs sad that art has to suffer because of an actorâs personal issues in a culture that wonât let people make mistakes. I would have watched this unedited, but now it feels like a waste. I just fundamentally disagree with this approach. Where is the humanity?
Their chemistry looks lovely in the table read video. Not sure I can handle 16 episodes of smiley, cheeky, flirty Wi Ha-joon. Jung Ryeo-won, how does it feel to live MY dream?
All I see here is bad take after bad take after bad take
Classic MDL. Too many children with no media literacy calling everything "draggy" and freaking out if there is angst or anything remotely stressful, putting it on hold for their "mental health".
I liked the FL and her acting early on but now Iâm not feeling it. She has little to no romantic chemistry with the ML and there is nothing in the performances or characterization in recent episodes to suggest FL and SML have been close friends for many years. Of course, itâs hard to sell that when theyâve had barely any scenes together. I doubt the final week can salvage the drama for me.
it's probably more melodrama, than a romcom - I hope
Definitely melodrama, like all Ahn Pan-seok's dramas. Someone added "comedy" under genre (used to just say romance and melodrama), but people shouldn't expect a romcom.
No global OTT has been confirmed. I would guess maybe Viki.
Yeah, but this was meant to be a Monday-Tuesday drama. It only got moved to weekend very recently because Resident Playbook was postponed. So the OTT was probably decided while it was still slated for the Mon-Tue slot.
Not knetz trying to come for KSH for his high appearance fee, only for it to turn out that he actually significantly reduced his fee for this drama compared to his previous work to help keep costs down. đ€Ł
