Not sure why they're wasting this cast on a Wednesday-Thursday slot instead of a weekend slot. They've not had a hit in this slot since The Good Bad Mother. But maybe this will break the curse.

If you're using English subtitles, make sure you use the one that is called just "English" and not "English (CC)", because the latter is the dub subtitle and it's always really bad because they have to adapt the lines to fit the characters' mouth movements better, so a lot gets lost.

You’re completely off. It was meant to come out in January when Ryeoun said that. There were literally schedules listing it for a January release. Then they postponed it, likely because they couldn’t get the rights to S1 in time.

Well you can literally hear him say it so what’s the issue? Also, actors will obviously have to know the date this close to airing because they will have schedules related to the promotion of the drama set up at this point.

Well it has nearly 20,000? It's 3rd highest among currently airing dramas. Besides it's a drama with a target audience that's older than the main demographic of MDL.

If Disney+ tries to get KSH to pay the morality clause penalty (like Netflix did with Kevin Spacey and House of Cards), reshoots with a new lead could be feasible; KSH would essentially foot the bill. But such a lawsuit could take a long time in court, which makes it unlikely, considering the rest of the cast would have to find time in their schedules to return to film all their scenes with the new ML over again.

I'm guessing Disney's plan right now is to kick the can down the road and hope this dies down, then release it later on. People have short memories (the majority that isn't chronically online at least).

Hmm, it sounds like it could be a good source for comedy to me. But I don't mind cringe, that's usually part of the deal with the rom-com genre in Korean dramas.

Oh, there are plenty of things I don't like. I just tend to focus on what I do enjoy. There are so many good dramas, so why waste my time on ones that I don't like/won't watch?

Obviously Disney did it "for their own sake". But those who signed the petition are simply part of the much larger group of people whose reaction to the scandal has made it impossible for them to release the drama as intended. If everyone had been on KSH's side, there'd be no need to postpone the release.

I had no idea people felt so strongly about a woman having several male suitors as a trope. Must be some sort of cultural difference. To me this looks sweet and fun, and I look forward to checking it out.
