Seems odd to postpone it for nearly a year when it has completed filming and would have been the returning drama for an actress who just had a big hit with Lovely Runner and got a Baeksang nom.
His intense overacting in Buried Hearts is amusing and sort of fits the makjang-esque vibe, but hopefully he's a little less over the top in this drama 🤣
If he has chosen this instead of The Boy in the Last Row with Choi Min-shik (the filming of the two seems to mostly overlap), that would certainly be a peculiar decision. Hopefully he'll be able to do both.
Choi Hyun-wook is doing Delusion with Suzy, and the filming overlaps almost entirely with this drama's filming schedule, so I wonder if maybe he rejected this? Would be an odd choice, but who knows. Since he's not main lead in either, it's possible they've sorted out the scheduling, with him filming concurrently.
dont think it hit some peoples minds that weak hero 1 is a prequel 💀
Does it matter though? It doesn’t make sense to say S2 is “the real story” and that S1 was “just a prequel”. They’re both equal 8-episode seasons of television following Sieun’s story.
They have like zero competition in most of the categories, so far Male actor only seems to be not for this drama,…
The less I say about the Lovely Runner nominations, the better.
(I do think Bogum could end up winning male actor - Gwansik has become such a phenomenon. But yeah, he could end up losing to a more senior actor like Ju Jihoon.)

2. Most likely not, as the age of consent was 13 in SK at the time
