i don't think that situation will happen to this drama since it's airing on CCTV/chinese tv. i think this drama will have same schedule like The Heir which aired on CCTV too. so it'll be stable 2 eps for each day, and express 3 days before the last ep.

i've watched 14/47 episodes and i can confidently say that this drama will end up as my #1 drama in 2026!

1. yess, the prince did it so he can beg his father/the emperor to protect his wife/let her live
2. she already did it before she died. she died because she drank poisonous drink and then her family's enemy got the blame so they got harsh punishment and died too. the only revenge left was against her stepmother, and she did it already right after she got into XH's body/early episodes. her stepmother is died now.
3. i don't think she has any revenge towards the 5th prince/her ex-husband. her only focus now are powers and protect her family/XH's family
