Overall, I liked this drama. It's not really a romance drama—it's more of a healing drama, so the romance takes a backseat. It's also slower than it needs to be, and I think it would have been perfect with 24 episodes instead. That said, I still think it's worth watching. Watch it for the people of the small coastal town, the sense of family and community, and the characters' determination to survive and succeed.

Finally, a drama that rivals Love Like the Galaxy. Wonderful story, multiple subplots, fully formed secondary characters. Huge respect to ZLH, who, besides the obvious visuals, works hard and grows as an actor, and TXW, who outdid herself in this drama - 10/10.

not even close to the quality of the double. :( It's a detective mystery, each case takes about 3 episodes to solve. WXY is playing a second fiddle . Main leads clearly like each other but there is virtually no romance.

To minimize spoilers: FL father's accident is believed to be ML father's fault. So family forbids her to be with him. However, they love each other and the break-up ends very fast.

he is definitely not a green flag. He is dangerous. Angry, jealous, full of himself.

I haven't seen SXT in other dramas, and frankly after a performance like this, I will not go looking for her. She stays the same for the rest of the drama. No growth, no change of emotions.

I'm enjoying this drama. It's a light watch. Its funny without being cringy, the comedic timing of both leads is on point! The idea is somewhat similar to A Dream within a Dream. They poke fun at all possible modern cdrama cliches

I just finished S1 and it was tedious especially in the middle. Palace scenes were the worst, very predictable, long, and boring, I liked that both MLs were intelligent in a different way , I liked how brothers supported each other, I liked a strong 2FL. I have reservations about Chu Chu character . I think with a better actress she would have been more interesting, less one-dimensional.

Not really. One scene combines 2 kisses: he feels that he is drowning and she is kissing him underwater to share oxygine; and in reality he is hallucinating and she is doing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation

You are reaching. How would FL know about Wan Ning's backstory? And she definitely would not know about physician's family being murdered? All she wanted it to expose Princess of having a love affair with her scumbag of a husband, and to make them marry each other.

I loved AMA! I think it's the only Republic Era drama I am willing to re-watch. I loved that so many cadets were given a personality and a back story. I loved the camaraderie. I loved the strength of the FL. I loved Xu Kai here! I think Gu Yanzhen and Chessman are his strongest roles. My only problem is that Oda Hiroshi and Qu Man Ting were styled so similarly; to me, they looked like twins!

If your child disagrees with you, you do not condemn them, you explain and educate. Anyway, it's a fantasy and should be taken as such! an alternative version. It's very well done and very sweet.
