I really don’t mind because they aren't in love. I think they care about each other but aren't truly in love; their relationship is more of a partnership. In episode 29, after the male lead rescued the female lead and they had a talk, the male lead even asked the female lead for a hug. I've never seen this before in a drama. I think they like each other because they've faced many life-and-death situations together. They are slowly falling in love, though they aren't aware of their feelings yet. In episode 29, the female lead has inner thoughts again about returning to her time and doesn’t want to fall in love with him.

FL restrains herself from falling in love with ML. During their trip in episodes 22-23, she has a voiceover thought that she doesn't want to fall in love with ML because she wants to return to her own time.
