I saw in the preview that Baili turns evil. I'm not sure if he gets close to the FL to use her or if he is really in love with her.

I prefer this type of FL character instead of a wishy-washy FL.

This is how costume/ancient dramas are; there's always fighting and scheming until the end, unless it's a comedy or family drama. The leads only get a moment of happiness. I’d rather watch fighting than political schemings.

I think they like each other because they've faced many life-and-death situations together. They are slowly falling in love, though they aren't aware of their feelings yet. In episode 29, the female lead has inner thoughts again about returning to her time and doesn’t want to fall in love with him.
