I know parents know best, but What I have to say is that they should not focus on that one mistake that person…
eventually the dad does because he have sense that his daughter is an adult and can make her own decisions so he tries to convince the mom… she doesnt approve because she’s very stubborn on controlling her daughter life.. plus the decision that he’s a bad person and not trying to get to know him . the parents don’t have a lot of scenes so it isn’t too much. Also li xun respects them.. he only acted out that once scene

Fl had been protected by her parents all her life so she’s a bit naive at the moment.. she knows what’s happening isn’t right so she thinks they should stop her which is valid but li xun basically tells her the woman is a small fish and there are bigger fish out there she just haven’t seen them which is also valid. zy character is naive but upright because she can’t ignore her good conscience .. it’s funny how they keep each other leveled .. also you probably won’t notice her character development until the end of the few eps.. even tho she didn’t need it but it was apart of her growth of what she’s experienced.
