Does this drama has a happy ending? I don't want to read the comments and be spoiled so if someone can just reply…
it wasnt necessarily or happy or unhappy ending, it's more of an open ending where it's up to the viewer on how they want to interpret it. amazing all around
is this mainly about friendship or does this have themes of female empowerment as well?
it's billed as a female friendship drama but imo there's some ~GL~ vibes between them if u read between the lines. there's tons of otp edits of the two female leads that cfans made lol
watching it now, the start was kind of rocky and cnetz also wasnt digging it as much but now that we're about half way through, the performance quality has gone up a lot! while the ladies' charisma/chemistry isnt as strong as s1, this season is still worth a watch. the performance set and stages for s2 are also bigger and more expensive than s1. rooting for rainie yang and joey yung, who are both already super popular!
this drama changed my outlook on the world and was a total experience omfg. it helped me gain compassion and look at things in a more multi faceted view, such a well written and humane story. am so glad it was so well received in taiwan, i wish it would be broadcast on netflix so that more international fans can view it
So sad my Gina didn’t win :( Meng Jia shouldn’t have come back she disqualified long time ago.. smh sorry…
im late but i totally agree, wang fei fei was robbed but mostly sad for gina chen and baby zhang. gina was such a strong contender and was scoring high, i don't get how she lost?!! i read some chinese comments saying ning jing's votes were rigged lmao
SEASON 1 IS JUST WAY TOO ICONIC! the ladies grew so much and poured all their blood, sweat, and tears into their performances. i'm mostly happy with the line up but agreed with others that don't think ning jing deserved it, my girls baby zhang, fei fei, and JIN CHEN WERE ROBBED
this was a stunning movie, beautifully acted and so moving and emotional. i literally CANNOT move on. the chemistry was on point, the setting and atmosphere was so realistic, and the angst was palpable i almost cried. no wonder it was the highest grossing lgbt film in taiwan!!
tbh i came here bc of this:https://www.instagram.com/p/CKgs8pLDLX6/?igshid=iw993dqprmy6but this kinda look interesting,…
omg this scene was so surprising but also fun! they go to tokyo for a few eps and the scenery is so stunning. the girls had a lot of fun scenes together, u should check it out (but u may end up fast forwarding a bit like me bc i felt like some supporting characters had wayyy too many scenes)
wow what a story.. amazing acting from bai yu, now i see why everyone was praising him esp in the last few eps. i do think plot wise there could be some things that could be improved, but overall it's great to see all these well produced crime dramas coming out of china recently.
OMG noo my comfort drama ended, idk what to do now T_T for those wondering if it's GL, it lowkey is if you read between the lines. even tho they have bfs, u can tell that theres a lil more there but obvs china c*snorship. cfans also made a movie edit of the GLs with just their scenes for those curious. they also have an official CP name in chinese called 金桐玉女 (copy and paste this into youtube for some funny BTS bloopers lol and some deleted scenes that didn't make the cut bc *alas* c*ensorship again)
it is lowkey GL, if u watch it then you'll see. they couldnt make it fully GL bc china and censorship but a lot of cfans said that screenwriter intended it to be GL but threw in a bunch of male characters lmao
