I wish they let tae ha know that baek sangil was his father
nah it's good that he never told him, that's the last good thing he could do as his father, he tortured him for 14 years, and became an abusive monster just like his own father, he didn't want to traumatize Tae ha any longer so he took that secret to his grave. And he got his own closure, he found his son who grew up to be a good person surrounded by good people
If you finished the drama, I have a question did the grandma magically heal from dementia?
she didn't really have dementia, she was heartbroken that Tae ha destroyed his life and became a gangster for her which traumatized her to the point that her brain blocked out her memories. so when he returned to the village happy and healthy with someone he loved, she gradually snapped out of it :)
At first i really think that baek sang gil should've at least tell taeha that he's his father but now i realize…
plus he flashbacked to all the times he tortured and hurt Tae ha, the least he could do was to not torture him with the fact that his father was a monster. He didn't want to be like his abusive dad but the only thing he had given Tae ha was trauma, taking that secret to his grave was the last good thing he could do as his father.
I agree. Also…there’s this thing where I keep wondering if she had been a different person would he have killed…
I don't think he would've killed the prosecutor even if it wasn't her. Gang rok said he knew Tae ha was the type of person who wouldn't kill and thought it was beneath him that's why he suspected that he secretly saved her. Everyone kept saying he was a good person and the Coach said to Baek sil that he couldn't corrupt and destroy Tae ha's goodness.
Tongyun is the most useless right hand woman i have ever seen in a drama, she's always going against Yinlou's ideas and always so negative. Don't even get me started with Murong GaoGong.....from a sniveling weakling to a disgusting arrogant paranoid possessive delusional punk! GRRRRR
Love the women's outfits in this drama, different from other shows, they were simple but so so elegant and pretty. I also loved that practically every character came back and was important, even Cong!!!
I wonder if Ms. Zhou and Yushan went back to be merchants at the end
And omg the last scene with Yunxi standing on the side with everyone that has already died......i cry now. I was hoping for a magical cure.
I hoped for a little more love and pda between the two lolol since we spent so much time with misunderstandings and not communicating with each other.
The chemistry and tension between Sa Eon and Hee Joo was the best part of the show. Plus the man looks AMAZING in his three piece suits and black hair. Something about his hands too...<3 But those last three episodes had me clutching my head asking "what IS happening?!" XD Overall a pretty good romance show with great fiery and tender chemistry between the leads and sizzling kisses
By that point (the day the FL transmigrated into the historical story world) the ML had been inside the historical…
the last paragraph just blew my mind, i thought he decided to be nice to her just because, but you're saying because of the heads up he got from Eunuch An, he intentionally let her stay and use a modern phrase. Thanks for the detailed explanations. oooo then could you explain what Xiahou Dan meant when talking to A'Bai, that "she wasn't the one he was waiting for but she came at the right time."
