I liked this drama though the final boss fight and the ending was kinda confusing. plus why did Tianyao's hair turn white?
All the characters were level headed and all the blame was directed at the correct person which i liked. Like when Tianyao was able to talk Yanhui out of her rage in wanting to kill the Dark Phantom when her master died.
Visuals were on point, costumes were great. I got so excited seeing Tianyao transform into a dragon, the fire effects were super cool. Wanted some more lovey dovey scenes though hehehe. I like how gentle and trusting they were to each other and how it was them against the world especially after watching The Princess and the Werewolf -_-
Yanhui was great. I loved that she was introduced strong and smart and stayed that way till the end of the drama.
A couple things that I liked and thought was pretty fresh. - Misunderstandings didn't last a long time. Every characters was very reasonable in their reactions and they were understanding of the situation. - Yanhui's personality didn't change and wasn't controlled by the dark aura when she mastered the Ghostly Eulogy. That usually happens when a character gets an evil powerup - The survivors joining the fight and healing Tianyao. Other shows would just have the survivors stay in the barrier waiting for the outcome. At least they tried to help - Yanhui was so straightfoward and open with her feelings for Tianyao, they were so cute together.
Okay, a comment below got me thinking. Yanhui disintegrated and her soul specks spread all over the world. in ep 37, Suying said she'd bury Musheng's memory bead in a mystical land (where though?) and reconstruct his body so he'll live forever. Maybe enough of her soul specks gathered in this mystical land and reconstructed her body, complete with her memories. Also, it'll be an immortal body so she can be with Tianyao forever.
Plus everyone was learning dragon cultivation techniques, meaning they can reach immortality as well???
and it's so funny how Kui Mulang's voice kept changing with his appearances. I love his hooded/masked appearance with the super deep voice. Such expressive eyes *in love*
I agree in the one hand ..but the truth...this is a secret reserved for the leaders of the monster clan...why…
Yes! He wanted and needed true love. If he told her the whole situation, she probably would have pity loved him. Evident in ep 24 or 25? when she tried to kiss him so he can have the holy pearl. He was super hurt and said he didn't want her pity.
Also the FL was very superficial.. she loved Li Xiong but was disgusted by Kui Mu Lang. I know she overcame this…
yeah i feel like they dragged her not liking Kui Mulang for too long. It was such a sudden flip in ep 23. She went from being disgusted by him to being docile and liking him. That's why I liked the last few episodes when they were in hiding and she was being affectionate when he looked beastly.
They still had their memories 1. Hugging between two people who never met before? Not likely2. She always wished…
so he's still a prince right? He just threw away his old identity to have a simple life with her? If so, i wonder how they explained the sudden disappearance of their 6th prince to the common folk.
I also especially like ML bro as well. He is good comedic char as well as value. I'm glad he become the emperor…
Okay, if that's true then I'm glad. Cuz I was like whaaaaa he's this random Mu Qing teacher all of a sudden when all of their past lives, they were the same person with the same identity
Pei Xun was looking so good the whole drama. BIG round of applause to the costume and makeup department for that because he looked ethereal in most of his scenes. My gaww that jawline too
The light color palette was so lovely while the dark colors were poppin! XD <333
Neo Hu for live action Inuyasha lols

Does Kui Mulang go crazy on a full moon night BECAUSE he's a wolf or does he go crazy because he's a wolf with DEPLETED inner force?

So did they both not have any of their memories in their 4th life here???
That's kinda whack. We fell in love the Pei Xun, his guard, the brother and how the relationship between him and Qing developed.
Or DID they have their memories? Because her hugging her new teacher that she's never met before upon first meeting each other is really weird
