It's because it is the uncut version. I think the tv version might be more tightly paced. But it's generally a problem I have with uncut versions. In k or j-versions, I don't think they do those "uncut" version. So it's different.

Also Jack did end up being a debtor. A role he hates absolutely, something he's so averse to. He's in some kind of jail too. And this situation was caused by Joke, involuntarily. Joke's carelessness seems even a little insensitive. Joke may be unhappy, but he still shows behind all that unhappiness that he has the personality of a rich brat, who don't really think about the consequences of his action.

I see several reasons for the "hate".
- First, when they first meet, both felt an instant attraction. It would be different if it was someone Jack's indifferent too. The emotions are stronger in that case.
- Two , Joke has also provoked a situation where Jack was arrested by the police in front of his grandma. His only family ! This hurts even more.
- Three, false hope and crushed dreams. Another one of his dreams has been crushed. The coach betrays him and prefer the rich guy doing taekwando. Then Joke is doing in fact the same. Jack has been used, even for "good" reasons. Joke has lied to him (like Joke has lied to his family about his exam, to make them happy) while he has always been honest. His trust has shattered. So many betrayals. Also he needs someone to blame.

Yep. i've watched again the scene. At the beginning, when Jack is not here, just look at Joke eyes. His eyes are not kind at all. He wants to beat/hurt him lol I guess he changes his mind after Jack comes.

Yes, but I think that when he was doing the forgiving the second time, he was doing it in front of Jack. It was also a "subtle" way for Joke to indirectly say to Jack "Why can't you forgive me too, like I've just done with Tattoo ?". Let's not forget Joke is also the Joker. He's a little manipulative too. So it's not selfless kindness 😂. And just after that you have what ? the scene where Jack eventually forgives Joke. The two scenes have not been juxtaposed for nothing.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think Jack says previously to Joke to bring back the ring. Because it will cause trouble to his family (and he cannot run away or something like that) Perhaps that's the reason. Or maybe not. I don't remember that well.

So I didn't expect the temple's boss lady to have another job here...the plot is plotting...

This was the most exhausting episode. I just can't 😭 (War is such a great actor - he's phenomenal in this episode gosh)

Same. There's just something about this series. Something genuine ? A heart ? I don't know exactly. But I just hope there will still be that "spark" until the end.

No.

- Good range of acting from War and Yin, very good chemistry too
- Some engaging second characters
- A mix of comedy (thai humor though is not for everyone - I'm not bothered by it), action, romance and angst/serious themes with a heist plot
- Emotional and entertaining (but also they don't take themselves too seriously so don't expect the plot to make a lot of sense at some times)
- Great cinematography and some scenes are really beautiful and well-shot

Apparently scenes with violent and sexual content are not in the cut version.

I really really love Shiba inner thoughts and the way the actor says those...🥺

Just my take on some (or many) people "criticizing" generally in Mydramalist. It's not specific to the series here. Some crazy point of views are usually made to justify those criticisms (which often are not criticisms...)
They often say it's an opinion and hey free speech !
- But they forget it's also free speech for people not agreeing with them...
- And they also forget that an opinion can be right or wrong...It's like putting on the same level fake news and true news...the madness of this point of view !
They say "constructive criticism" ah !
- But often it is not really constructive but destructive, since it's only (or mainly) negative
- And it usually serves to boost their ego (and feel superior to others)...when they are not even experts on editing, acting, cinematography...
- and since they usually are not experts, they cannot give some valid remediation/ solution to the flaws of a series...the constructive aspect of their comments is quickly lost in fact...
The only thing people can more or less talk about in fact is about their emotions. This is the only true/logical thing they might be able to do : "I didn't like it". "I cannot connect to the story, etc. "
This is madness if you truly believe people on this site. Just watch the series and see if it pleases you. If not, you'll just drop the series and never come back, commenting on every episode how bad it is.
This is also madness if you take too seriously the rating. The rating is usually just...weird on this site.
