If you're a new viewer here, my advice : don't take this comment section (and the rating) too seriously. Watch for yourself and see for yourself. I'd advise too to get away from that comment section because of biased perspectives, the usual spoiling and the lack of media literacy. Why you should not take this comment section seriously : - their hate for one character (Little Jane) basically make them incredibly biased. - the impossibility to embrace complexity whether in characters, story, story telling, etc. Everything with them is so black/right. No nuance at all. - the constant comparison to the novel. A novel and a series are two different kind of media; What you say in words will never be the same compared to what you show. To sum up, you cannot expect a series to be a novel. This is something they just cannot understand. An adaptation is not a copy... - the confusion between constructive criticism and opinion. Opinion is not criticism. At least in a criticism, you have a valid argumentation, with proofs and analysis. But in this case, the analysis and proofs are lacking. It's easy to affirm something rather than proving what you say. It's also very lazy. And people are incredibly lazy.
I was genuinely scared to watch Episode 9 because of the comments I kept seeing. Some people were calling Little…
Really, people should not take seriously that comment section. It's incredibly toxic...Some who really appreciate the series have even left because it spoils the fun of watching the series. Some of the "criticism" is getting absolutely ridiculous and incredibly biased.
He's a big wuss who constantly retreats when things get hard. That's not how relationships work especially when…
He cannot stay in a villa while his family is on verge of poverty...Is it that hard to understand ? His family is as important as BJ...Will you do the same ? Hey family you'll be poor but I don't care. I'll stay with my boyfriend ! Good luck !
apparently in the next ep, i saw some tweets about a car accident instead of guns
I think Dan is going to be another villain and that Put last words were a warning for BJ. Or maybe not. But the guy always appear at odd times. After all BJ said he has a lot of enemies...that interview with the four actors and Korn not answering the question about why he said BJ name...like he doesnt want to spoil some things...suspicious.
I also find it ironic that BJ indirectly has contributed to the mess causing the obstacle to their rekindled relationship, Jet being of course the main reason. But still even with a little help...Jet literally has taken the chance of someone who might have been certainly more talented than him. And that's another dream crushed. Just like LJ dream of becoming an artist has been crushed in the past.
Don't be too emotional, they say. But the whole series is making you feel such a wide range of emotions : angry, sad, irritated, wary, amused, frightened, excited, thrilled, delighted, cheerful, touched, heartbroken, furious, enraged, uneasy, apprehensive, confused, etc. Not many series can do that. That's why this one feels so special in fact.
Someone mentioning this on tumblr but....ep 3...dialogue between LJ and Dan : - Jane what do you think is the most important thing in your life ? The thing you absolutely don't want to lose ? - My family. Nah. Dan is really really really suspicious. What are his motivations, really ?
Both characters (especially LJ) basically literally saying their reasons, and still people being deaf...it's literally given to you on a plate...nah, you just don't want to understand.
To sum up : "He isn’t rejecting help altogether. He is trying to prevent financial dependence from becoming the foundation of their relationship. He wants to remain P’Jane’s partner, not become someone who feels indebted to him."
Dont be too emotional => DBTE => DEBT
I understand where LJ is coming from. BUT I also understand where BJ is coming from too. In this context, both of them has valid reasons. I just wish people stop taking f*cking sides and try to understand that this story is about TWO people not ONE against ANOTHER. They will always choose each other in the end.
I don't think so buddy. Its more likely that we won't see him act crazy with L'Jane ever again.
But I don't think he'd go crazy after LJ left though (well crazy in other ways than crazy in love) ? LJ has left for love and to sort out family problems in the meantime. LJ speech justifying that is not something that will make him go "crazy", logically, and judging by the context. And it's not a "break up" per say. In fact it has more likely made him fall in love even more...But I'm not talking about that...but about something that will come later apparently. After all they are still 3 episodes left, right ? 👀But I could be wrong. Let's wait. Reasons he can really go "crazy" as "crazy" : - losing LJ (like Put in that hospital) - people physically hurting LJ They would not do that gun shot scene in ep 9 for nothing, right ? And him saying in ep 8 I could not bear to lose you a second time (= disappearing definitely), seems foreboding. Ep 10 preview shows a LJ still around BJ, like not disappearing completely...it's not something sufficient to make him go "crazy crazy". There's still hope to make LJ come back to the mansion and be the nanny at home again lol he just needs some convincing...no need to go far...BJ is a smart and manipulative person who used information and threats to achieve usually a goal (seen in the scene with the bullies). Not a stupid crazy man going on rampage, at every corner. He cannot control LJ by those contracts, by doing favors, by means of fear and anger. Charm, seduction, (and a very willing LJ) work way better (and it's more agreeable) even if I'm convinced now that he really loves LJ, and don't necessarily manipulates him now (that's his character growth btw, I've seen someone asking about it elsewhere, etc.).
the LJ hate....people are so biased against his character though. I believe that whatever that character does, people will blame him anyways...They are more psycho than BJ in fact lol
Nah. I do believe P'Jane dark side will definitely appear later. He did say in ep 8 he could not bear the fact to lose LJ a second time. I'm expecting madness at some point. Seeing how he used to react when people threatens LJ...now totally smitten and with LJ answering back equally that love ? It's definitely the calm before the tempest for his character...Losing or almost losing LJ would bring an answer from him bordering on craziness. Well, let's see.
mmmmh Jean will save them all I think 😭 (she will be a famous tiktoker right ?) ! The little sister is such a great character ! love her !The scenes with the family are the best ones I think in this episode. P'Jane "evil" self still resurfaces when Dan is around. He's at the same time the same but hides it way better, which is more realistic. He's like calm water and seems "kind" around LJ (and now his family because they are LJ's family), but you can feel that the "steel" has not faded away...He will do something ruthless when LJ life would be jeopardized right ? or maybe not ? I don't know. i feel like it's going to be explosive. Like burning the world who has dared to hurt LJ ? I don't know. Let's see in those last episodes.
another engaging episode ! but no kidding, I was getting seasick with that scene with the boat...🤣 as for LJ reaction, perfectly understandable. But I've given up on viewers. Next time, companies should just give them long scenes promoting brands for quick money, ai-generated nc scenes for spiciness, a lazy plot filling up just one page with one-dimensional characters easy to understand. They will rate it 10/10 for sure. Complexity (and it's not even "that" complex btw, anyone with minimal empathy would understand) of the characters, their motivations, the layers in the story, are completely lost to them...
Folks on X are known to be complainers I wouldn't take it as anything too serious. Anyhow could I ask your opinion…
This is an emotional rollcaster, with unexpected things. I recommend to not read the novel AT ALL. It's better to go into it completely blind (avoid the spoilers as much as possible). Episode 6 and episode 7 being the best ones for me in terms of emotions, tension and acting.

I'm obsessed with it 😭There's something definitely different with this one. I don't know how to say it. Well, I'll let you see for yourself if it's your cup of tea. But really, I think everyone should at least try it.
Also, Heng going viral on x.com because of that NC scene in episode 2...I've seen some people regularly saying he cannot act...or that his expressions are weird...Apparently it's not weird enough or not that "cringe" for the people liking that scene and sharing it everywhere. Only a good actor is able to portray that kind of scene...A bad one and it's easily laughable. Again, some people let their own prejudices cloud their own judgment.
