why did she in her past self become a concubine and so loving of the king when she knew he used her and killed…
she probably didn't have much of a choice. she also wanted to be able to stay there waiting and hoping that the prince would return (before she found out he already died)
and she was probably faking being nice to the king in order to stay alive. also that scene was just a dream so I don't know if it's accurate to how they actually were.
this man saw her spit poison from her mouth looking like a madwoman and thought "wow that's hot". Downbad is not enough to describe him 😆 That scene was so cute. Glad to see them still bickering
I actually really liked the press conference scene. I saw people say they were unsatisfied with how casual they handled choi mundo's arrest (honestly valid opinion) but I actually loved how unserious they were with it. They were having so much fun with taking him down. The way they were bickering in front of everyone was really funny. And girl said "don't mess with my man" not even trying to hide their relationship anymore. Off topic but lim jiyeon looks so cool in that style and glasses.
I was a bit confused about the time traveling/soul stuff. There were definitely some plotholes and unanswered questions but their scenes were so sweet that I'm like I can't even complain
How I interpret it is that sin seori and kang dan shim are the same person but since they grew up differently, they are just different versions of each other
Did they even explain how she ended up the King's woman? Logically there was no reason to make that move - Grand…
I think it's so that she can stay there and hope/wait that the prince will come back. I remember one of the episodes where Kang Dan shim overhears that the prince has a marriage proposal. they said that after the prince leaves, she'll have nowhere left to go. So maybe she agreed to marry the king so that she can stay there and wait for him to come back. or maybe she just had no choice.
the king probably kept her around in case he needed to threaten the prince. since the prince died, there was no point in keeping her around.
I really hope they don't mess up the ending and address opened questions. I really enjoyed the drama so much but I was expecting to learn more from episodes 11 and 12 and hoping for more progression. I really enjoyed the dialogue and their moments in those two episodes were nice but also very sad.
They still have a lot to address in two episodes. I hope we get to see more moments in Joseon since there wasn't a lot in ep 11 and 12. So I wish we had 16 episodes instead.
Overall, I'll be sad that this drama is going to over next week. Hopefully there will be more comedy because this weeks episodes have been depressing for Seori
Couple of things...they totally glossed over her explanation regarding her past. Really? And he believed all of…
Yeah I wish they were more thorough with that part. If Cha Segye does believe her, I feel like he should have a lot more questions. Like why isn't he asking what happened between them and what happened to her in that lifetime?
And I agree that the hitting felt weird. It turned the scene kind of awkward.
I think we can infer that Mun Do is behind the truck. The target was not Se Gye, but his grandfather. No, this…
I see. it's just that even before the driver reached the restaurant, it was already driving recklessly so that's why I thought maybe it was an accident.
I wonder won't people suspect Mun Do since he was just reassigned a position and conveniently the grandpa gets into an accident? Man he really is shameless
almost every preview had at least a few cute scenes to look forward to but next weeks preview is just stress over more stress 🥲 this wait is going to kill me
was the truck was hired by Mun Do? earlier, Cha Segye went to look for Seori at her place and dodged a truck that almost hit him and I assume it's the same truck. so was the truck aiming for Segye originally??? or is the driver just drunk that's driving like crazy and it was actually an accident?
fml’s acting is soo bad!!! wasn’t she a ROYAL in jeoseon era? in the beginning she was shown such powerful…
I agree that there's a big difference in her personality. I hope they explain it well
However, I felt like she always had that strength in her. even as a maid, she stood up for herself like when she poured the bowl at the other maids or when she climbed the roof to plot some revenge.
And as the concubine, she has a similar personality as she has now. I remember when they showed the multiple assassination attempts on her life, the acting was similar to how she is now
Although, I'm just guessing, I really hope they address how her personality changed instead of letting us assume stuff.
but I don't think it has to do with the FML's acting. She's obviously given the script and given how to portray the character. it's feels intentionally
I think I'm not bothered by it for now because I love her personality
Based on the preview, Segye changes into a suit and joins Seori and everything seems normal. I feel like in the next episode, Seori will deny and pretend like she doesn't know what he's talking about (because she might be shocked and need some time to think about it first) and then Segye will be like "yeah maybe I'm overthinking" and then snap out of it but will bring it back up later in the episode.
but like how did she even become queen after that? and how could she love the king as well? Them being lovey dovey…
yeah I'm not really sure about that. This might be a stretch but my assumption so far is that she had no choice and after some time she decided to fake "forgive" him and faking getting along with him in order to survive
I really hope they do a good job explaining everything soon
ugh the parallels are KILLING ME kang dan shim made up a false testimony to save the grand prince sin seori risked her reputation to testify and save Cha Segye from being framed
and she was probably faking being nice to the king in order to stay alive. also that scene was just a dream so I don't know if it's accurate to how they actually were.
