3 months later already? so they never interacted in that time? actually i'm happy that once she found out he has…
She was pretty cut throat post confession too! It’s like you re not the only pine tree left in the forest and even if you are, I will settle for a palm tree.
His parent’s relationship plays a big part in how he views things. It’s also bc of his mom that he was prejudice towards FL….which was why he coldly rejected her in the book and not how the drama shows it,
How can now ML like her, when he despised her as YQL but now she is his online love and he suddenly is in love…
That’s totally on ML’s fault for misleading FL. ML realized it after knowing FL is his online crush. Her split personality is his doing haha…. I m sure if you have a weirdo pursuing you, you would be just as annoyed as ML. FL’s fake gentle/innocent girl persona is pretty annoying to watch.
His redemption is pretty funny in the book. ML met FL in a different setting which makes ML avoid her during the college years. He purposely kept his interaction limited from FL to prove a point. That part…not sure if the drama will follow it or exclude it. You could say ML is not shallow to like someone for her online personality even though he never met her in person.
i'd hate it if they added characters just to accommodate "actors"
They could add characters…as a side story…but to create a different persona and insert a non existing character is just unrealistic. I m ready to fast forward the second couple’s screen time.
her friend is proving this line ---a stupid friend is more worse than a enemy ...😍😍😍can't she see her…
Blinded by love…lol. And she’s over confident that he will like her. She’s even more confident thinking she is seeking the best advice from her group of male peers.
For all who didn’t read the novel, here’s some changes the drama added/changed: 1. Floor 9/Project 9 is only one team-the elite team that is in charge of the main game project. ML’s role is more like the game/computer engineer and reports to the lead manager on the 9th floor. 2. There are no rivalry arc/story between ML and the Manager of Project 1 team. 3. Yin Jun is actually supposed to be Yin Qin (a female supervisor). It’s weird the drama changed him into a narcissistic drama Queen. The female version in the novel is annoying and picks on FL. 3. JJN (ML’s sidekick) is supposed to only be his college roommate and leaves after graduation. He doesn’t have much of a story line in the novel. 4. JJN’s secretary CXY is not a character in the novel. She’s added in the drama to give JJN his own story/arc. 5. Stella is not in the drama 6. ML is not a lead manager doing his own game from scratch. 7. ML picks out FL’s illustrations from a pile of submissions. FL ends up doing side projects for the 9th floor and still keep her original job post. 8. JJN is not one of the original player from the group. The players are from ML’s childhood elementary/high school and lives in his hometown. ML & FL are the only one in the city.
There are a lot of fluff added to the drama…hopefully it doesn’t take away attention from the main leads. Drama is following the main plot and twist from the novel. It’s more about their story and the pre/post and aftermath of their connections. So if you are watching the drama, don’t read the book. If you read the novel and watching the drama, don’t have expectations! 🙂
i really prefer duan jiaxu 's ideology from hidden love that if you do not like someone and that person is trying…
There’s a reason he’s annoyed at the FL. Hopefully the drama includes it from the novel. The drama really added a lot of fluff and unnecessary personality for ML, not doing his character any justice at all! For FL, it was love at first sight for her and after learning more about him, she admires his talent.
there is a br@ken heart in ep8 so I think they will be like that until ep13 (heart symbol), they may know about…
ML knows first and he tried to win FL back…it’s funny reading about it in the novel. After the confession, FL sees ML as the enemy and she is also embarrassed about what happen. I m looking forward to how the drana unfolds!!!
does anyone knows the more accurate translation for the characters' address? like I'm pretty sure the female lead…
Zhong family comes from a family of medicinal background. They are not royalty. ZXW’s mom is a princess, sister to the king. Her royalty status elevated the Zhong family. The marriage is political in which the Zhong family contribute in research and make more medicinal stuff for the country’s good. The Zhong family has a secret medicinal concoction that other pharmacy vies for as well. HQ’s family is Zhong’s family lead butler (manor manager) but his role is in charge of all the secondary butlers from other cities that runs the Zhong’s families medicinal pharmacy/business. The translation is correct.

That’s how the drama rewrote their status.
