I really don’t understand the hate towards Runyu. Out of all the characters in Ashes of Love, he was one of…
hmmm he was manipulative though (and later selfish by trying to force him into her heart). he *knew* jinmi and xufeng liked each other, yet he played innocent and made everyone think his and jinmi's feelings were mutual. i also believe he deserves to be loved but that's not the right way to do it. he slowly turned from being the victim to being the perpetrator.
btw i don't hate his character, i actually hate the author for turning him into a villain and not giving him the good ending he deserved :(
Dropped it after episode 3, not because i thought it was bad but because i didn't understand what Nanno purpose…
it's hard to explain because there is no clear explanation on who nanno is.
the way i see it, she's a complex, morally gray character who's not meant to be purely good or purely evil. she doesn't stop the characters from committing crimes but she's not exactly encouraging them to do it either. while it may seem like she does, what she's actually doing is testing them: how far are these humans willing to go with their deceptions and wrongdoings?
all nanno does is set the stage. what happens next, whether good or bad, is ultimately up to the character.
I dislike shows with these type of premise but I love both the FL and ML sad that I have to drop this because…
no, this drama is not like that at all! if you continue watching, you'll see that the ML doesn't love based on appearance, but rather, inner beauty / personality. (more specifically, the FL's true self since all the personas are ultimately her)
plus, you have to remember that the ML views FL negatively because he thought she was a bully back during their school days. put yourself in his shoes - would you like someone who bullied you? he doesn't realize that the people he fall in love with are actually the FL until later.
Any Cdrama ends : MDL community comments: which ep ml & fl start dating? any break-up? any love Triangle?I have…
and most of the time, someone else already answered the same question a couple comments below. like hellooo why are you waiting for an answer when there's already an answer right there LOL
rewatching all my favorite scenes even after the drama ended. su miao arc is the most entertaining, fang jin arc is the most memorable, and dating arc is the sweetest <3
There is no debating at all that SCC's and TQ's ending was a good and happy one. That the both of them removing…
i like this take. stories usually portray a happy ending as the main leads ending up together, but how do we know if it truly is happy or not? we only see a little bit of their life after they got together, not the entire rest of their lives. they could've broken up later idk anything is possible.
i think it may be true, considering how cheng cheng's dad told tang qi and gu yu that if the relationship doesn't work out, it's okay, just be honest with each other (i needa double check if this is accurate later LOL)
I'm currently watching this and omg, the second male lead is so green flag and perfect. I believe when this was…
i don't remember if drama fans had any arguments back then but i do know that novel fans did. apparently, the novel author intended for FL to end up with ying yuan (1ML). but fans kept complaining they shouldn't because 1ML treated her so poorly so author made FL end up with yu mo (2ML) instead. of course the drama changed it up though.
This being said, I also felt XL theme song playing on sad Tang Qi felt totally misplaced. It didn't suit the theme…
i think it sounds strange because we're used to hearing it for just xiang liu / lost you forever. it caught me off guard when i first saw it haha but the lyrics actually suit the scene really well - waiting for something that can never happen (su miao coming back).
Gonna miss seeing Jianci act as Tang Qi, he was such an adorable nerd n looked so different than all of his other…
yes! even though tan jianci played all those characters, i can still differentiate them from each other.
"have seen many actors making u feel no difference in their acting in all their dramas, becos they do the same acting in all different ckts n so u can't tell the difference between the ckts even!" ^^^ agree with this too

satisfying? no, in my opinion at least
