su cheng cheng isn't trying to win him over. she liked him before, but now she doesn't really because she thinks he's shallow (she stills cares for him though. but clearly, there's a misunderstanding between them because he is most definitely not shallow). what's happening here is actually the opposite - it's tang qi is trying to win *her* over. cheng cheng tried to avoid him but he kept wanting to meet her (as su miao and fang jin) over and over again

but this drama is very unique from usual ones. so if it's not your cup of tea, that's understandable
