one of my favorite tropes is when one of the leads is SO close to getting caught/found out by the other lead (ofc not for cheating though lol), so i loved the tension in ep 3. like yessss i can't wait for when TQ finds out the truth! good to see him get a little character development too.

also, i just remembered that we're going to lose SCC's personas, which made me feel sad because i like su miao too :( really starting to empathize with / understand how tang qi will feel.

i think he only seems expressionless here because that's how his character tang qi is like (for now at least, until he gets character development). if you check out tan jianci's other dramas, you'll see that he can show a wide range of emotion on his face, even microexpressions

it's okay, people either love or hate this drama. i'm part of the group that didn't like it very much :-) the aesthetics and songs were amazing though. even today, i still wish i had gu sheng / zhou ye's silky smooth hair lol

same here! i also thought he's mean but when you think from his perspective, it's actually understandable. he took a pic because he just wanted to improve his product as you said. he said SCC is not his type because he thought she mocked him during their school years and therefore has a grudge against her. it's a major misunderstanding on both sides 💔
