Ep 17 is such a beautiful yet heartbreaking episode. Poor Liu Miantang. She could only be happy for a little moment before those people came in to kill everyone. It felt even more painful when she realized her marriage with "Cui Jiu" was a lie all along... Her crying scene made me wanna cry too 😢 It's my first time watching Wang Churan and I have to say, she's doing an amazing job acting as LMT.
Just finished ep 16. Maybe it's just me, but LMT has become a bit scary now that she's begun to recover her memories. It's like seeing a usually bright and smiley person get very angry. I'm nervous yet excited to see what happens...
Also in ep 17, the first scene, notice how the camera is almost centered on the pillar outside, as if drawing a line between CXZ and LMT. Things are gonna get serious fr!

This drama is one of the best drama as well as one of the worst drama I've watched, I recently watch the S2 and…
To each their own.
I strongly believe that one shouldn't revolve their entire life around one person; it's unhealthy. If we're only focusing on the romantic aspect, then sure, maybe Jing really is the ideal partner. He's devoted to you and only you after all. But what if we take a step back and look at the bigger picture? To be with Xiao Yao, Jing had to abandon his role as Tushan clan leader, passing the responsibility onto his young nephew. This nephew who had already lost his grandmother and biological parents now has to cope with losing his uncle as well. Therefore, while someone like Jing might be considered a good lover, can we truly call him a good person? I don't know about you but if my partner was like that, I would be very concerned.
Love is a beautiful and important thing, but it's not everything in life. That's why I love Xiang Liu's character. He loves Xiao Yao deeply, doing so much for her without expecting anything in return, yet still remains true to his morals, repaying his foster father Hong Jiang's kindness by caring for the Chenrong army. You view his actions as "stupid" and while I do kinda agree (out of bitterness about his end lol), it just demonstrates how great his morals and gratitiude towards Hong Jiang are. This type of person imo is a good lover AND a good person, in fact, even more than "good" - he is selfless and honorable.
Can finally start watching yayy! Just began ep 1. What an intriguing introduction scene. I think I know who that masked person is... The opening song is so cute, filled with all their happy moments.

AHHH the umbrella pic!! The polaroids are so adorable too. I'm even more excited for this now
Many viewers become unfair and miss the point of Xiaoyao saying she had 'reverse growth' just because she did…
Hey, soTreeD! Arguing with the air again? 😀 Not a single soul in this thread said Xiao Yao should've ended up with Xiang Liu for true character growth so I'm not sure why you brought him up. OP even said that they "would have cheered for her had she rejected all of them n made them all jst frnds forever n left alone to wander being WXL again, free spirited n happy with herself." As always, spreading misinformation to influence the new viewers.
