Personally I like Pooh, and no not just because he's hot. Charlie has this "Yeah I'm cute, you know it, I know…
I am seriously hating on Way for using his hypnosis/mind control Alpha ability on Babe to convince him to stay single and to dump Charlie. Is he really on Babe's side? Unrequited crush or not.
I have started finding & reading as many books as I can that are the source material for my fav BLs. I am currently reading FUTS (so now I know what that expression means) and decided to re-watch the show. it's not a masterpiece, but it is far from the worst BL I have watched. Unfortunately I had forgotten the god-awful shippers from ep 4 onwards, so now the fast forward button is in use whenever they appear.
This is the episode where Day starts to come put of his shell little by little, as he finally let people know…
Should we find it appalling that Day's family told everyone he was studying in America, and keeping him virtually housebound, instead of telling the truth that he was going blind and letting him keep some social contact. This resonated with me because I have a sister who was born with a severe disability, and my grandmother told everyone she died at birth rather than admit she had a less than 'perfect' grandchild. i was only little at the time but I can't even begin to imagine the fireworks when my mother found out what she had done!
I agree with you - but there is one thing I dont understand: why is he not usinb a cane/a stick for the blinds?
I thought about this, and I think his family is to blame. When Day goes out with Mhok, it is the first time he has left the house on his own two feet. They are treating him like he is incompetent and putting him in a wheelchair every time he has left the house before. I am hoping Mhok helps him to use a cane to navigate new places.
Im reluctant to watch ep 3 as I dont believe the characters (mostly Yim) will get better. For someone who is an…
I am trying to watch ep 3 because I've got nothing else to watch at the moment, but it's a struggle. The uncut version is over an hour long, and already by minute 18, Jade is so cringeworthy that if I was Mai I would be reconsidering my life choices up to this point.
Am I the only Untamed fan who chuckled at the "Everyday" shirt? This show is so good on so many levels. Sea is doing a wonderful job of acting as a vision impaired person. I have to assist my mother in the same way when we go out in public, and that mild panic in unfamiliar situations is so true. After a lifetime of seeing, losing your vision is a scary thing. I wondered if Sea is wearing some sort of vision restricting contact lenses, or is he just that good of an actor? To hold his eyes in a fixed place is not easy when your instinct is to follow movement.
Off topic, but I have just finished a Chinese novel called The Missing Piece, and it is really good even though it has an amnesia based plotline. The thing is, if there is ever a Thai drama based on this book I could see Meen and Ping as the leads. Meen as Ji Mingxuan the pining businessman in love with the recovering Shen Mo (Ping) who has PTSD after a vicious attack and injuries. Somehow when I was reading the book, I was seeing their faces!
Episode 2 wasn't as bad as #1, but it was still pretty bad. The scenes were often disjointed and didn't not flow evenly, and some of it doesn't make sense. Also too many tired tropes. 1) Jade still yelling his lines when everyone is talking at normal volume 2) What is with the whole haunted building thing. It seems like a dumb excuse to have grown men screaming like little girls. 3) Mai falling on Jade's lips - seriously, are they still doing that? 4) The background actors standing around like mannequins when the focus is not on them 5) The world's most boring karoake 'party' 6) King suddenly on a mission to get Mai drunk, when he had been sitting there like a waxwork up until that point - why? 7) (Sober)Jade throwing up because he saw (drunk) Mai's bare chest. Even Minato wasn't that extreme. I've read both book - Bed Friend and Middleman's Love, but I don't think the scriptwriters have!
