When I started watching this drama, I was apprehensive about Song Yi doing a Badass General. I have only seen her as this elegant lady of the house in most of her dramas...Plus she also has this delicate voice... and I couldn't imagine how she will command her soldiers..... then her weapon was bow and arrow and i was like... What ? how she will manage if someone swing a sword at her at close range......
Now that we reached Ep 26.... I must say, she really did a wonderful job, her posture of sending arrows were brilliantly done, close by shots were taken bending sideways.. very cool... her arrows were like her...sharp and delicately made (looks like)! Her action scenes were too good, even commanding her soldiers she did it. Great job Song Yi.
This is my third drama of Cheng Le and he is impressive .. all in all, great in acting, facial expressions, emotes damn well and looks too... esp in costume dramas...
Jinan knows if once the jade is extracted from him, he will loos all memories and ties with Shuang and Its tearing…
Apparently the story is going to be, he will fall in love with her...again, this time without the blood connection.....!!
When they put the jade thingie inside him... they said he will be totally following the person he has blood connection with... so it maynot be love.. it can be bcoz of this tie....

I went and watched the beginning and realised.... Prince Annan moved him army to catch Li Shuang alive and bring to camp. Then he heard his brother was taken out of palace by the consort, he went away alone to save him....
Now the irony.... he himself saved her from his army... after loosing memory......lol!!!
I would prefer to see Wei Zi Xin in a more positive role... he was so hilarious in New LIfe Begins, Princess Royal and serious in Prisoner of Beauty..... I really dont like to see him as a evil sorcerer role.. like he did in Shen Li and here.... so wasted... He is so talented... hopefully I will see him as an emperor once...!!! a clever one...!! Come to think of it.. he is in all dramas of Deng Ke... from Heroic Husband I am seeing him...
I hope that Prince Annan will retain his "man in black" powers in addition to his princely fierceness/martial…
If you remember he is fierce by himself but wearing a Golden Mask instead of the black. Thats how he could get out of this puppet thingie they tried to trap him.... I am goin to watch episode one again just to recollect how he transformed..... while waiting for the next episode release...!
I am just in the mood to rewatch and enjoy few episodes.......!
Its so funny the way XiYun throw insults with such a straight face, at the fat guy ... telling him, he can flatten the place if he sit on it.....rofl! ZLY is a powerhouse... the first time she turns into human... she is just wearing a flowing gown.. with open loose hair... no jewelries, no hair pins, nothing... but she looks sooooo beautiful...and ..ethereal..! amazing.. but she can belt out orders from that tiny body.... and people will take it...
Its not about Jinan only, if she defied the emperor her family will be beheaded and her army will be implicated…
Delusional emperors are brought down by clever strategic schemers/planners, which is the way to save innocents common people...! I thought or rather I would have loved it, if both Shuang and Jinan stood together and planned a brilliant attack to uproot the stupid emperor.... Now for sure CP will never forgive or forget this....! lets wait and see...!
