Person who shoot at Ancheng is Sijiu only, he only listens to Princess Royal, if you remember in one of the episodes the daughter order him to do something but he will just stand there and look at the Princess Royal then she tells him to go ahead. Thats one scene i remember very well.. when she calls that duke's son to take the blame for killing jiang Si's brother and burning the restaurant down, and duke' son say... no no.. its Jian Zhan who did all these.... then she calls his name, Shijiu check it out...

The Rise of the Phoenixes, eventhough eventhough its a top drama, the ending is messed up. but I would say still worth watching.... chen kun and Ni ni....
I think i am going to rewatch...... lol!!

"Drifting Away" is criminal investigation but true story, its really sinister, Zhano Jinmai and Esther Wang did amazing acting, one is a killer other the victim....
There are some low budget drama became a big hit.....

All HE, but very different dramas... !

if you like serious dramas then "The Longest Day in Chang'an (2019)" is an awesome creation...! all great actors...

It was her dream to go to a place where they wont be treated as slaves... Yan Xun always told her Yanbei is a place of complete bliss and delight and peace, with no slaves there. All forget the fact that he himself left Yanbei when he was young . Yuwen Yue warned her many times... its not the land it used to be... But her heart was broken when she heard YY telling his grandfather he is using her as a tool ... so she refused to listen to him....

Then everything went wrong, in Yanbei... Yan Xun revengeful demeanor, place was so miserable... not the grassland she thought off... people were poor... Then emperor beheading his whole family, which she witnessed... and she feels she can be on some help to him....

I understand you predicament... i was also hoping when she will turn to that cool assassin we saw in the beginning in white..... lol!

Apparently in the novel, she was in love with Yaxun first.. then realises her mistake when she attacks YY,.. and she leaves him. Thats the second part in the novel.... they are all older and finally Xinger and YY happily ever after.... But of course FL sleeping with anyone other than ML is not something asians movies can ever show......lol!!

the second part would have been really great if all the actors came together..... "Rebirth" I wonder whats the story .. it cannot be second part of the novel... bcoz there all were older than the first part, its something like 3 years after...

Thanks for the two names, I will check it out. "Drifting Away" is a sinister and gripping True story ... with vile criminals.. its not for the faint heart... Zhao Jinmai, Esther Wang... all of them did amazing acting...

But you know the rating in MDL is not by people who watch the drama and rate as per the story or acting, its mostly by fans who want to promote their stars...

Xu Hao (Cui Ming Yue), did a very similar role is "The rise of phoenixes"... couldn't stand here there too..

Yes... there is some back story there... I think he liked her.. bcoz Princess said in one the earlier episode.. that he only cares about Jiang Si's mother...

Actually people compare it with Hidden Love, but its the plight of a girl's survival in this world, if you dont have parents or siblings, everyone try to take advantage when they know there is no one coming to question......and the girl is beautiful too, FL is pictured.. soft and subtle..
it can make u angry... but not depressing.. Very strong love story..
Give it a go...

I just finished "First Frost"... slow burn but very profound story.. and amazing cinematography, background, setting and music...
Was going to start best thing... but got diverted here...

Keep watching, I started to see how is the drama, thought of watching the first few episodes.. and here i am already on ep18. Dont worry.. with so many women in this drama.. how can you expect it to be calm waters.. there will be turbulences.. in every episode..

The princess Royale and daughter are most vile lot, gives you lots of uneasiness.... FLs encounter with the daughter happens only in ep11, but Si is experienced.. so she try her best to avoid these dangers...

SML is a gentleman, graciously give way when he realizes... FLs interest. nothing from that side.. so far. but of course.. SFL... might try, i dont think it will affect their relation...

Yes pretty impressive Mr. Zhen, the actor's name is Cui Hang, he is been in dramas since 2016, but i have never noticed him... So i am happy he get noticed here.. and hope he get his deserving recognition and end up getting some leading role...
