I kept wondering I have seen these two in other drama, then realised in 2020 they did "Handsome Siblings" with Hu Yi Tian, this is their second collab. They have indeed come a long way from that...!!

Li Zan knows what he is volunteering to do is so dangerous, cannot predict what will happen next min, like he told if one mistake... only his dismembered body will remain... hence he is hesitating to move forward with romance side, at the same time... he likes or falling for the FL. She also knows the seriousness of his job.... so treading carefully!!.

Zhao Jinmai was really good, but i must say Esther Wang was incredible, sinister, scary and like jinmai said in ep 5, she looks she came from hell, so evil... she did an amazing job.
I took a break for all the episodes to be released and now back to watching.... seriously i am enjoying every episode.... so funny even the serious matters are presented in such a manner... !
Eventhough many people are comparing this to JOL.... seriously I compare this to "My Heroic Husband" those who have seen will understand... that is also Deng Ke's direction and its Zhang Ruo Yun doing a guest appearance in the current world and he travels back to the body of Guo Qi Lin, who is about to get married in the brides family as a matrilocal husband... and its sooo hilarious...
Another thing I noticed, Deng Ke has few actors whom he always has in all his dramas.... one is, (Xu qian's dad) Yue Yang, then Wei Zi Xin and Liu Guan Lin.
I am rewatching this drama and I still dont understand why FL save SRQ in the OG timeline. They barely know each…
