I just finished... somehow that Wen Peng character was so impactful, done a great job by the actor Wang Tian Chen, after manipulating people, when things go his way.. he has a smile on him... so evil...! At the same time... I cannot ever imagine, what a terrible life he had, to be so unemotional, he was such a caring child.. to become an animal with no feelings... I seriously blame his parents..
I feel 2024 gave us two brilliant villains... one is "Shen Yurong" of The Double... and now Wen Peng of Love in Winters... tooo good!. Amazing acting...!
She was always so bad in every drama, esp in Minglan... omg! so terrible..! So even i was feeling good to see…
The SML here is a psycho... but Kira Shi is in all dramas are Super B... "The Story of Minglan" is a classy costume drama, amazing story, direction, actors. I have lost count of times I have re-watched it... its a family drama .. so you can see all womanly wiles, schemes, jealousy .. I would really recommend if you like serious dramas...
I really wanted to like this drama... but the story made the ML so hesitant, helpless or afraid to even console the FL who is totally a cocktail of emotions.. I know its not realistic to start doubting wen Peng initially.... I am only on ep 12, but I feel its going to be an agony to watch till the last few episodes... I know its a Happy ending...! Is it ok to Fast forward... will I miss anything important??

Its so happened, i have seen Elaine Zhong first time in Lost in Kunlun Mountains, I really liked her action character eventhough she didnt get many positive comments, then I saw her in Imperfect Victim, which you will take real notice, then Furthest Distance she was the FL, but where she really shined was in her "Rising with the Wind" with Simon Gong and "Born to Run".. that's one reason I planned to look up Begin Again... Also I like Elvis Khan and Amy Chen..

I stopped at episode 31 end, just felt disappointed at the way the story turned, I dont know if its something with both planned to take.. or she just acting on a whim... but I feel if you have a partner in business or life, you should be open and honest and make decisions together.... otherwise.. the person who trusted to make partnership will be left standing looking lost and disappointed... @39.40. Man who has better knowledge of what is happening and how to get around difficulties... left behind..!

I was pretty sad to finish watching this drama, it was such a satisfying drama, the husband and wife were so in line with decision making, plan and plot everything together... usually its one of the partner making decision on the spur of a moment and make us fuming and tensed till end....
Here both of them were so loving, respecting and caring for each other once they committed to each other...
Its human nature to always wants more... I wanted to see Ansu considering Wu Shan as a possible partner for her...!
