HT is more serious and very professional... He had a crush on her in school and send her a message, and since she didnt reply... He went on focusing more on business studies....
Where as FL is more free.. been in love for 4 years, and when he broke off she was heart broken for few days, then for winning a bet she offered herself to HT, who loved her dearly... I am assuming she must have loved him to do that.... Of course in their heated argument she defined love to him...
as, "You will die for me and with out me your world will collapse" ...but her world didnt collapse when she walked off.. i see only he is breaking apart...

Now when she heard rumors she blamed the whole thing on HT, she feels its her right to know all company secrets, at least she felt she deserved that for staying with him, then walked away... brooding for few days... then happily moved on....

Didn't she put a big show of "Do you love me" and defined love to him as, "You will die for me and with out me your world will collapse" ... then what happened now? did her world collapse.. i see only he is breaking apart..... Or does that apply only to HT.
FL character in the story was let down... why they spoiled it like that I wonder..

Poor guy.. seriously broken up... the way he ran across the water to save the cat says it all. He just doesnt want to loose that too. She told him loving mean you will die for her or you fall apart without her.... Now we see, she seems pretty alright whereas he is falling apart...
very sad..

Meanwhile our CEO resigned and left, without any professional courtesy of telling him. People in high positions cannot do anything like that... it will be termed as absconding... isnt it? Story is pretty thin when it comes to starting a business and being professional... etc.

If you "Rising with the Wind", which i rated as real good drama, you can see how a FL with almost similar situation struggle to start her business.....!

I think his mother is worth watching........ lol!

Like he explained, he never harmed her company or gave her any reason to doubt that he will. even when she asked during the bribe case , he clearly said he wont do anything to her or her company.
She is doing everything like an immature person in love.. too much doubts, assuming all thing wrongly, she believes ZD more than HT???

HT is on a different wave length.. he does things very seriously. Hanhai is a secret project which no way he could tell her, which is against work ethics.. but he did contemplate.. was hesitant wondering how she will react...
will she act like a kid, like how she is doing or take it on equal level, understand and work together...

And the writers showing us only how broken HT is ... he may not die for her... but he expected more from her.

And what she said about paying for the time she spent with him.. is totally put her down.

Now she is a CEO, can she just resign and run away... with out telling HT. Story sadly showing a very mature ML and kiddish spoiled girl in love sulking away...!

EP 31 I was disappointed by the FL character...... so badly proved, she absolutely have no clue about business, HT on the other hand patiently explained things out to her......
The minute ZD informed her inner secrets, She should know ZD will never do anything for JX's benefit and she should have told HT and clarified if she doubted.. instead she sneaked into his safe and still didnt check with him, he at every turn assured her he will not harm her company...

Actually the whole reason HT invested in her, obviously he loved her, but also he was proud of the way she can work from school days... Here instead of going cray cray and screaming... and going berserk. They should discuss and work hard together and make herself indispensable.... But instead she pushed the merger and HT agreed. It will be beneficial for Xingchen... !

Thats why the Grandpa had doubts in her, Grandpa brought up HT with no kid glove and hard life so he will be an achiever, not emotionally driven...

Actually XuKai's acting is worth watching in this drama.... I find HT, XYX and Linjia's mother Han Yumei the best characters!
This is a modern Office Romance.

WLIS is an awesome watch... both the leads and their story is sooo good. The location, cinematography all too good... country living.. actually makes you feel refreshed.. than the competitive city living. I like Zhu Yutong... and almost all her dramas...

BTW i am now watching ep 31 and saw the punching scene... seriously clueless guy is so thick, still didnt get the message she is just hangin around with him, waiting for the proposal....lol!!!

The problem is Xingchen took off just bcoz of HT's connections and investment, but all these delulus seriously got carried away.

Remember she quit her job and took her junior's plans to build a business, he had only a place and money he thought his father gave him... lol! then the first commitment they borrowed money and paid for a printer and the guy ran away with it... can anyone survive from that....! all their exposure one after another HT took her and introduced or gave her invites... Yes she is hard working.

Ok by now she should know whom to trust at least...!!!

Best is LiLi giving advice to JX to take outside investment, isnt that bcoz she is upset with XYX....!!! They all became such experts in business all of a sudden.

Seriously I agree, "For a man who has been married and widowed with a child" , at least he is thinking about his daughter... also may be he doesnt want the whole marriage... saga..!
He gave her a ring for commitment... to assure her he will never leave her, you think marriage has more guarantee than that...???
The word mistress is not there in this time and day, unless he is married and having another on the side, but here from day one she agreed to be with him without any obligation....
And that delusional young colleague still moping the floor she walks on with his tears... Just hope.. he will pay attention to the new girl who loves him... she is more to his line....!

I wonder why everyone is upset with XYX. Didnt LiLi started the relation with him saying she is comfortable with their relationship not having any obligation or relaying on each other, that way we can get out of it easily... and he said, whatever you say... !

Contrary to what she said, as days pass by she changed completely demanding to know more and more about him... Even at the wedding.. there was no discussion earlier about a wedding... but pushing him to marry her.... which must be a difficult decision for him esp after he lost his wife.. leaving a daughter. I am sure he will marry her.. but needs time.

At least he is a devoted father to hesitate marrying again incase it will be bad for his daughter whose mother died... !

Its all over now.... i finished watching....sad! It was a good drama... of course needs a lot of trimming....! The actors were all good.. did a good job tooo..

I think his character was written very poorly in the story, a person given a chance to make amends and rectify but turned around and did the same mistake more deviously and with force....
and then they gave him so much time to die...and even given a chance to play Guqin before dying... and I was literally chanting die die die....lol!

Yesss...! I m starting ep39...! btw I must say... the emperor is too handsome.... lol! I am yet to see an emperor in CDrama sitting happily in his throne!! trying to recollect...!
