some funny moments here. FL is very good haha. the whole casts team are well known actors/actresses and comedians which somehow was a waste. wish it was a regular movie
this is a must watch once in a lifetime. the greastest movies (trilogy). with such depth & art i understand how its not popular. the single review here isnt helpful and i doubt that person understand 70% the movie at all.
Mitsuru seems selfish on the surface, but he's actually quite insightful and nurturing. I don't feel that him…
I actually prefer your ending as well. However i have my uncle IRL who has never gone upstair just because his dad prohibited him long ago. So the ending in this series totally makes sense.
Can anyone suggest another heartwarming slice of life drama like this?
Atashinchi no Danshi 2009 Family's Form 2016 Hanawake no Yon Shimai 2011 or Seigi no Mikata 2008 Kaseifu no Mita 2011 Momikeshite Fuyu 2018 (very close) Always: Sunset on Third Street trilogy (highly recommended)
first saw the male lead in My Teacher 2017, his role there is completely opposite to this but im here for him again. That give you the idea how capable of his acting 10/10 for him alone, other actors/actresses are surprising great as well. Overall 9/10 cos i couldn't agree some of the topics they over discussing and it annoyed me a bit. Kurashina Kana is gorgeous to me, just a bit overacting
the plots, the dialogues/scripts are more thoughful aka deeper in 2004 version. 2015version falls short at later episodes, dragging and doesn't advance much or anything interesting added to the story. just my worldview tho.
comedy neither good or bad, just some time-killer
