imo the first 20 episodes were the best then the writing got sloppy. some scenarios happened that only make sense in a fantasy drama but this one is classed as historical so I wasn’t a huge fan of that. a lot of people like it but it’s not better than Love Like the Galaxy at all imo. the casting was great tho & I want them in a different drama together with better writers.

well I knew episode 4 was gonna be sad but I didn’t think I would be sobbing my eyes out for the last 10 minutes😭

it went downhill for me after 27 when they made it so a 19 year old is able to take down a seasoned general who is twice her age with experience in battle and military warfare. unbelievable much

agree to disagree I guess as I said previously she’s never fought close quarters or in a battalion but suddenly she’s able to just ride off into battle & defeat a top general with the skills her father taught one on one? you can claim it’s fantasy but when the tags are “historical” & “war” I kind of expect a certain level of realism.

the rebirth aside at least in LOTFG she was shown as weak in the beginning & then gradually became strong after training at the battalions constantly so no it’s not more logical in my opinion

i vaguely remember that thanks! I’m trying to turn the logical part of my brain off but it’s hard when I can’t help but compare it to other dramas with strong FLs

okay i’m all for a female empowerment drama but when the FL who has no formal training aside from what her father taught her beats a seasoned general with 2 swings they start to lose me. It’s not woman empowerment when the only reason she won is bc she has plot armor. If she actually had combat experience then maybe I could believe she won but butchering pigs is NOT close quarter combat
