You must understand that these Laws are made by humans and are a try to protect children on one side and on the other side give them freedeom to find theiir own way through life. So we can discuss if the ages are always well chosen but unfortunatly the most think these laws are like the 10 commandments and are not willing to discuss what is good or false

I think you referr to some sources, who just say that ghe general age of Consent is raise from 13 to 16. but many sources also say that for 14 or 15 year old is an Excepion when the partner is not 5 years older
