I would have preferred someone calmer and more reserved in that role—or that JJ had portrayed him that way, which might have changed my opinion. However, I've learned afterwards that the character in the book (which I haven't read) is actually written the way he is portrayed in the series.

I appreciate how grounded this felt, focusing more on the tension and growth than cheap thrills. Krist and Singto have a very specific, slow chemistry that works, even if the hazing was way too much.

I really felt Jim’s struggle with that chicken stall. Earth and Mix have a heavy, mature chemistry that works well for the story, but the series loses some steam because some side plots definitely dragged.

Daou and Offroad really coast on their charm here. I loved their sharp yet soft dynamic and those lingering gazes, even if the business plot felt a bit hollow and messy at times.

First and Khaotung have this magnetic chemistry that kept me hooked. I loved how the heavy, oppressive school rules clashed with their softest moments. The mystery got a bit messy, but they made it work.
