I already watched so many C-Dramas :) I am well aware of the fact that each drama may take a while to get the green light, but at worst 1y something like that unless it was shelved because of something related to the cast : tax evasion or another kind of controversy...
When you said it was shot years ago, I wanted to verify if it was shelved but now the reason for that is no longer that's why it got the green light
Other actors receive praise for their excellent chemistry with their co-stars, but I don't think Wu Lei gets the recognition he deserves for this, in particular. He has consistently showcased amazing chemistry with his co-stars, including Reba, Lusi, and Zhou Yutong. Despite the limited intimate scenes in his previous series due to his old contract, the chemistry was outstanding, to say the least. Now that he is going into full romance mode, the chemistry is chemistrifying , as some people have humorously pointed out below 😂
Zhang Ruo Yun is not the ML of this!! 😳 Will his appearance be for several episodes only? I assume they spent serious money on this considering the cast!

Unfortunately the ranking through search results for upcoming dramas is lacking, I tried it several times before but it never gives the full story... The other problem is that rumored casts are added to upcoming C-Dramas even if they are not confirmed... For Her has so many watchers simply because Yang Yang was added as the ML, but he was later on removed and right now there's no cast in the drama's page
Joy of Life 2 is literally the most anticipated C-Drama this year. No competition! The first season was an absolute gem. I was scrolling down waiting for the name to pop up! How did you miss that?
I highly recommend editing your article to replace For Her with Joy of Life 2, as far as I am aware of FH has no confirmed cast yet, it shouldn't be on the list 😌
There are other anticipated dramas not mentioned like Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Yue Hong starring Yang Mi ❤️ who is without doubt one of the best and most popular Chinese actresses
