It's not a requirement, it's up to the actor to pick up the projects, there are other actors who do lot of different genres, again you said it's the "same type of role", that's not the case! How is Wuxia, Drama Romance is the same as Youth Romance? It's not the same at all, also I respectfully disagree, there are plenty of series with good story : Meet Yourself, Go Ahead, Reset, Love Like The Galaxy.... and so many others.
She doesn't need to do that actually, it's not like she is doing pure rom-com or rom-drama, she is already doing different genres :
Hidden Love : Comedy, Romance, Youth Gen Z : Life, Youth, Medical Love Like the Galaxy : Historical, Mystery, Romance, Political Who Rules the World : Romance, Wuxia, Fantasy ... and so on
I don't want to see her fighting others in Hand-to-hand combat in action thriller drama to say she is versatile, she is already an amazing actress and proved that plenty of times with outstanding acting skills and highly rated and successful dramas
I love SHS and JCW - both are great actors who are severely underrated. But do all recent dramas have similar…
Underrated?? πππIsn't it early for April's fool? JCW is literally one of the most popular Korean actors and SHS is one of the best active Korean actresses and she is highly appreciated for that
Since it's 24eps and romance too, I assume two or three months are enough to finish filming it? If that's the case, and everything goes smoothly we have a chance to watch summer 2024
Shin Hye Sun's role from See You In My 19th Life, is kinda a same as Doona. A flirting expert but only with one…
Are we now comparing Shin Hye Sun with Suzy? Seriously? π Suzy is eye candy and one of the most beautiful Korean actresses, that's not up for debate, but sorry guys I can't say the same about her acting skills. We are comparing the incomparable here π
Her scene when she confessed wasn't good at all (that's one example btw). If it were Shin Hye Sun, that would be a completely different story because she knows how to project emotions. That's what a good actress can do.
You're funny. You're complaining that this was written by a 12-year-old, yet the only positive you mentioned is…
You are actually the funny one π. I don't know how you didn't get the sarcasm.
And regarding "mature and realistic stories about real people isn't for you," are you serious??? π€£π€£π€£
When you write a drama, yes, you could make it a mature and realistic story, but there has to be a selling point. There's none in this one; it only relies on the popularity of the actors to carry it, which isn't uncommon. However, it has to be called out. I won't sugarcoat it to please the fans; this drama is mid at best.
Go watch "Meet Yourself" or "Go Ahead"; maybe you will finally understand what I am saying after you watch a couple of realistic dramas, which are masterpieces.
I had a hard time figuring out the empress and consort, couldn't figure who was married to the emperor until ep…
Empresses are always above anything else but in LLTG it's the other way around xD it feels like Yue Fei is the real empress and Xuan Shen An is the consort :D
Was this written by a 12-year-old kid? What on earth did I just watch? π Everything about this drama is bizarre, even the number of episodes.
I'm grateful for two things, though: - The kissing scenes were quite nice. - Yang Se Jong is finally back; hopefully, he won't take long to work on his next drama.
That's about it. π Before this, I watched Eternal Love. Man, why did I subject myself to that? I need something else to cleanse my system.
The creators are known for taking rookie\rising actors and making them big names. Hospital Playlist and Prison…
That's not my point, obviously I don't like 20s characters to be played by 40 years old actors,
Calling it a spin-off from Hospital Playlist is quite a statement. HL is undeniably one of the finest Korean dramas ever produced, so I naturally have high expectations for anything connected to it. But frankly I don't expect too much from this one and hopefully I am wrong
I am not familiar with FL though but if the cast is true, she is lucky... I also don't understand why can't Meng Zi Yi be the FL if she is already in this π

His next drama after this one will start filming next month if the schedule didn't change π
I am so excited, hopefully it will come out soon

If you have an idea, what about the ML of the drama Ashes of Love?
