it had to be her, but she was just someone else who believed in what she heard and based everything on that, when he was risking every single moment of his life to defend the people (and therefore the country) just to make sure that she has a better life full of peace, she was thinking that he was screwing around with women.

Now I see where you're coming from. I went back and checked, and perhaps only a year and a half passed. I don't know how much kids grow over there, but that doesn't seem like a 3-year time leap in my opinion. Hopefully, they clarify this information. Regardless, I agree that if he was her dearest, she shouldn't have moved on so quickly.

My guess as well. I think he's the one shown in the 1st episode. But it's not satisfying to me I just want him dead... I have a feeling he's going to do something to the FL that the ML will find unforgivable. They pretty much gave it away with the look on his face towards her in the 10th episode. There was so much hatred in his expression.

So, he was supposed to let the country fall apart and be with her all the time? What on earth? Soldiers used to leave for wars, and their soulmates would wait for them for years. That's true love. She was the selfish one here. She didn't even bother to ask him what he was doing. She had the wrong impression about him from the very beginning and always assumed the worst about him.

The people who praise the FL for choosing her family should actually be praising the ML even more.

He didn't care about anything else, that much was crystal clear. She meant the world to him, and he started doing what he did solely for the sake of the country, to create a calm, peaceful nation where she could live safely. What was his reward?

She marries another man just 2 minutes after hearing that he died. She better do better in the second season; otherwise, I'd prefer him dead rather than being with her.

The only thing I can say is that she didn't deserve him.

People are debating the final decision and how it portrays her as a responsible person who chose to sacrifice her happiness for her family. That's a noble thing to do, but most people who make such sacrifices often lead a miserable life full of regret. Every time things go downhill, they question that critical decision.

But let's step back a bit. She should have never agreed to marry that man so quickly, even after hearing that he had died. That's unforgivable. I mean, seriously, she spent only 2 minutes before agreeing to marry another man. No matter how they want to show us how much she loves him, marrying someone else after hearing that your dearest has died shouldn't take just a couple of minutes. It should have taken years. What on earth was that?

2. How the hell this drama has only 8.2/10?
I watched many C-Drama and K-Drama that were released this year, there are plenty of them with higher rating than this , and frankly this drama is much better than most of them 😌

I have been struggling to watch K-Drama for while now and focused mostly on C-Drama, but this one revived my interest. I watched the 8 episodes within a day.

And at the end, let me say this : the most shameful thing in kdrama history is the fact that Namkoong never won Baeksang Arts Award for Best Actor despite being included in the final selection 3 times... I will never acknowledge that reward until I see him lift it because no one adeserves it more than him
