i am kinda glad seeing people for the first time blaming male lead for something in a cdrama than hating fl and i belive that is really due to fandoms... If the male lead was zhang linghe,hou minghao,xia zhan etc.. and fl was barely famous no one would blame him even if he was a full on red flag,while bai lu has way bigger fandom than cheng lei that are watching for her mostly so of course people are finally not so biased to not say anything bad towards male lead but at the same time as a neutral watcher who is in both fandoms i think yall are over doing it.Male lead had right to doubt her after all she lied and had so much secrets.He is still a good man who would die for his wife
