you’re right, i do agree, but for some reason, i’m still not quite sold on it, the way it’s portrayed in this series at least. however, i still do quite enjoy it!
I didn't enjoy the second half as much... it completely switched gears and suddenly moved on to a completely different plot. If they wanted to do that, they should have focused more on the couple in the first half, but they spent a lot of time on the side characters instead. Them getting together was a little anticlimactic, too... Also, why was the only kiss the drunk one? Come on..
ngl, those two episodes were a tad boring. i don't like the direction it took. it feels like a roundabout way to delay proper communication. i do like the grandma, but idk if this family subplot was needed.
Wait, what the heck? This is so goddamn good. How did I almost miss it? Absolutely fantastic chemistry and yearning! Also, the intimate scenes and the kissing are great; I'm just so happy to watch a JBL with proper kissing scenes and not like dead fish style TT
And I have to say - the casting of their younger selves is pure perfection! It's rare that the younger actors actually look like their grown-up selves, but they truly aced it here.
