Started good, but progressively became a drag

honestly, this series started so good and had the potential, but what were the last 2 eps? honestly, it felt separated from the rest of the series, as if a block of events happened but they weren't connected to each other, the context was off?! Did we actually need the last bit of him working in the hotel, looking at the sea and coming back to see his cafe still standing? so many questions in my head from just the last 30min of the episode alone. I was always shipping Dream and Night but I believe their past and their relationship could have been told more thoroughly or deeply, it felt shallow. After seeing how Day asked Dream and told him to wait, I had a feeling they would be a good ship as well. Probably one of the few times I support the ghost/alternate ship more. So many questions were left unanswered and felt too rushed even though at the same time last 2 episodes felt like not much context and just dragged to make episodes. Does it make sense? Therefore, I first rated the show a solid 9 but I dropped it to 7.5 right now and it is for the sake of the beginning.

the chemistry of main is sooo good, but the rest is meh!

Honestly the story line is classic and in my opinion one of the most lacking ones currently. The follow ups are not met and some scenes feel like they are there just to be there and so much product placement that doesn't blend in with the scene. However, the acting of the main couple, their pain and crying and smiles and playful times are actually so good that I feel that this story line and production led their downfall in this drama. The scenes of the main couple has great chemistry and acting but the rest of the cast and drama the acting is bad. If not for the great execution of their steamy moments I wouldn't give more than 7 rating. I have read some reviews, comments saying this is one of the worst bl they have watched, and as a person who has been watching since 2017, I can tell this one is actually average, could have been a lot worse. So even though I wouldn't rewatch the series, I would definitely watch the moments of the main couple and still would recommend watching it.

The best Korean BL of all times

I am not going to summarize anything but I wanted to write this review so it will remain here at all times. This drama is one of the best dramas (not just BL) I have watched all my life (I watched nearly 200 BLs, and I would say among them it will enter the TOP 5). It left me with happiness and peace and honestly deserve all the awards. The acting and storyline are great, I just want to rewatch it all over again.
You know sometimes it's so good that you would want a second season, but this one is the opposite in the most beautiful way?! The most I would like to see is a special episode, this is how good this drama is. Totally advise everyone to watch it.
