On behalf of a capitalist country, I don't think capitalist propaganda needs to be in every movie, or I feel that way about things like war. I prefer movies that are about war and conflict, to at least credit people with a brain and remove 50% of the propaganda. Some movies can talk about the government honestly. This one is certainly NOT one of them. Most people who are homeless are not usually homeless because they lack money. It almost always involves mental health and addiction of some sort. Do not presume to actually believe that people are living on the street due to money unless you have studied the issue. It is something that actually requires people to study. I once had a homeless patient who had over $9-11,000 in uncashed checks. This was a LONG time ago when the government was still issuing checks. Not every single check was there, but she was just keeping them and didn't deposit they just sat in a dirty duffle bag inside a black trash bag. I still remember this because nothing used to fill me with more fear than going through a homeless person's belongings. (If you were a nurse, you know what I mean.) I have known too many people who have risked WAY too much to cross oceans and deserts to live in the horrible capitalist nightmare that is the US. If capitalism is so awful, why does the US have such a terrible immigration problem? Why doesn't North Korea? I will say that plenty of the US's past wartime actions don't leave me with warm fuzzies, but winning a war is important, and winning it fast is better for EVERYONE involved. I love many things about China, not the gratuitous propaganda machine it has rolled out in the last 15 years to try to change its image of a technology-stealing goliath.
Why are all these articles so childish? I don't understand why delusional people are even getting attention. Both actors are great, GUCCI just isn't exactly breaking the mold. Gucci is the brand that is styling them; they just get paid to look good.
Yes it actually is. Freedom of thought and expression is a crime in China. The entertainment industry is a slave to their masters if they can't even decide how an actor can appear in a show. We have had so many people try to impose thought control on the people in the US. It has always been going on but with the advent of social media it has just gotten worse. Then we have all the people crying out about how bad things are here in the US. Which is ridiculous. At least here our government is not telling us how our actors can be portrayed.
Apparently people saw a celebrity. Not blaming him bc it's horrible being famous sometimes, but is he the one…
Sometimes people may not intend to be thoughtless, but when someone points it out you should listen. Put yourself in his families shoes. How would you feel seeing a post like that? So many people died, and you just implicated someone in this tragedy. “Not blaming him...." You clearly are trying to say something.
Tragic, RIP. I'm not familiar with this young actor, bless his family and all the other victims. I don't know what happened to cause this disaster, I just hope that preventive measures are made and nothing like this happens again.
