They can't accept off the bat that their boyfriends might have been cheating, which is understandable, but if you watched the entire episode you'd see that what you said you won't do for a man was exactly what Yun Ting, Zhen Xin's gf, said to Danyi, who wanted to run after Zhang Zhun. Till now they haven't shown much of the clingy behavior. Its hinted that this show won't be following those cliches so you can watch their scenes with an open mind.

Glad to see someone understands. While green flag characters are good to watch, they sometimes can feel too perfect, which is not how humans really are. In reality even someone who's a 'green flag' can have thoughts or do stuff that's morally grey. But the consequences of their actions, how they change from that or learn something new about themselves, that's what's interesting to watch. If there's mindless cheating or hook-ups, for the act rather than the feelings, that would feel more like a bad character we can fully hate or dislike. But in the drama, the way they are portrayed is not just that, there are so many nuances, some yet to be revealed.

They think they aren't cheating, since they were straight before. Also whatever they did, they were in character or 'deep in' that character. That's their justification. There's no mindless cheating or hook-ups just for the sake of it.

Maybe its coz people actually do that irl. Asking AI about this stuff is nothing, I have seen people ask a lot more and share details they shouldn't, and consequentially their entire life is destroyed..just becoz they trusted AI with stuff they couldn't share with anyone else. Ngl I found this relatable for that exact reason..

This series has done it. Its my new obsession. Now I can't sit and watch something without thinking of this. Whenever I start to get bored, I think of this and rewatch all episodes again. Yeah ig I'll crash out when this is over, and it'd be bad. But 12 eps is just not ENOUGH, there is still so much that can be done with these characters. Like what happens after they get together? It definitely won't be easy in the industry. There has to be a season 2 to this, idk. I just really want these two actors to work together in a project again, even tho its likely that they won't.

Omg I love how you break down each scene so well. It really helps us think along too and understand some of the nuances that might be missed while watching this show, its just so intense. The snow scene is definitely the most beautiful, but I somehow loved all those little moments more, starting from the one with the rose and the hotpot scene too. I also saw your comment in Payback, and then you posted this lol, and somehow I'm in the same situation, while watching something else I end up thinking of this show and coming back here to see what others have to say about it coz I'm that obsessed lol.

Yeah. I was shocked. Idk how many times this show has surprised me lol. I was totally waiting for her to scheme something up, maybe coz I'm so used to it, and when she didn't I was in disbelief. Then that reveal at the end again made me question whether it was her who did it, but I'm glad it wasn't.

Wow. She's so chill. Literally never seen that before. I'm happy that she's not the scheming one dimensional female character everyone expects her to be.

idk lol it could also be that it wasn't penetrative sex but ZX rubbing off on ZZ..they didn't explicitly say what it was and in the novel I think that's what happened.
