The show doesn't state it in any way, and it's based on manga, so the original source might work within rules of its own.
I presume you didn't just come up with those numbers on your own, so it's entirely possible it's 13 (which isn't the case in my country).
That's not the point I'm trying to make, though, and it doesn't interest me. I can concede to you that depending on the situation and regional justice system, Minato wouldn't in theory break the law if he got intimate with Shin now. But again, I didn't mean to imply that either way 🙂

But I feel that if you want to do this kind of very dramatic story with possible supernatural elements right, you should start slow, gradually build up the tension, and still try to keep it fairly believable. Emotional scenes only move me if I find them believable, and preferably relatable.
UWMA started well, but got more "out there" with the main pairing very unnaturally for me. So I couldn't relate to them. The side couple and their past versions saved it for me.
I'm not sure who the side couples will be in this, and whether I'll like them or not. But I will give them some more time to set it up and see 💜

It very much feels like someone wanted another UWMA. I'm not fan of UWMA (only liked the side couples). So this might not be a show for me. But I want to give it one more chance, since there is some potential.

No. I'm viewing it from my lenses. We all have different set of morals and values. If someone's okay with watching two 13 olds being intimate, that's for them to judge. If someone's morally fine with 17yo having a relationship with 27yo, that's also on them.
I'm not fine with it. That's why I said I'm uncomfortable with it, and that I want a timeskip should they become substantially closer than they are now. We all have our own conscience to deal with.
Minato himself seems to be aware of the potential problems stemming from their age gap, that's why he's (so far) holding back. We will see when and how their relationship changes.
Also, I was using the word 'jail' in comedic connotation, which I thought was obvious from the context. I don't actually expect any of them to be arrested.
Imma get some heat for this, but what the hell is going on? I would say the leads can't act to save their lives, but considering how overdramatic the whole show is, it might have been the directing. Unforgotten Night is possibly acted out better.
It's like the producer watched UWMA and was like : "I want that, but ten times as dramatic with half the runtime." It's just way too much. Not subtle. Not clever. Just "deep". It spells out everything for you, thrice. Actors' faces are so animated a blind person could see what they're trying to do. There's so much 'fate'. So much brooding. So much 'hidden' pain and so much angst. I don't know if I want to continue it. This level of drama, I expect from low-budget telenovelas.
It's not entirely horrible, but it's far from good. Maybe I could just laugh it off week by week, if I have time for that. Similarly to Unforgotten Night, but UN's Kim is way cuter 💜
Old Fashion Cupcake has just ended. Different plot and feels (more mature), but it's still worth a try.
Korean "Mr. Heart" and "First Love Again" are pretty good, but more angsty.
