if i may ask, what were ur expectations of this drama? do they align with mine ?
Kind of an "us against them" theme. These two young men working together to get the fame/fortune they thought they were entitled to. I imagined seeing a lot of their plans and how they came to fruition, learning things about life and themselves along the way. Even though I'm a romance junkie, I imagined NO ROMANCE because that really shifts focus.
You are a lot more generous with your rating than I was. I don't like the FL actress or character. I've watched her in other things and she's terrible. As to why he loves her, I couldn't figure that out either, she had such poor self-esteem that if I was a man I'd run away!
Yu hit that right on the head! I'm watching an action show right now and realized that I don't have to fast forward. In almost every romance show (my favorite genre) I have to fast forward because of all the extra people that need screen time, drunk behavior, no confession until at least 3/4 of the way through, rushed disappointing endings.
Thank you, he's gotten a little bit better and strangely he has more time with Jin than the guy that died! I would have liked to have seen better bonding between them.
I was pleasantly surprised when I watched this show. He could have come off as an entitled jerk. He was wonderful in this show. And their relationships developed so naturally. Loved it!
That's why the ratings are often skewed, because people rate the drama based on their "favorite" actor. It should…
Very good points. Since I don't watch a show until it's been completely released, the repetitive scenes are even more apparent than if I had just watched it week by week, while watching other shows as well.
I liked your review. This was one of my favorite C-dramas. I really appreciated how healthy their relationship was, plus, I'm a sucker for "we knew each other as kids".
