Are you planning on updating your review once the drama has been completed? I'd love to hear what you thought of the whole thing. A review before watching the whole thing doesn't really help me much, because as we know, things in K-drama land can start out very well but go south quickly.
I always like to hear people's thoughts. A lot of times, when adapting from another medium, they change things so much it actually shouldn't be called an adaptation. As for the acting, I totally agree with you on the ML. As for everyone else's acting, from the scenes I've watched, it seemed very over the top, like they were TRYING for overacting, maybe to make it MORE over the top? I normally don't watch melodramas, one reason being they often seem so much like a soap opera. Thank you for your review.
READ FIRST------>This is my review and my personal opinion that shouldn't affect others, neither I have to agree…
Isn't it sad that we always seem to have to preface our opinions with "this is my opinion"? I don't know why so many people think that if I don't think the same way they do, my feelings are wrong, and the name calling begins. Feelings just ARE - not right and not wrong. That being said, thank you for your thoughts.
I have to say i dont understand all the exitement for this drama. I just finished it because i like LGH but it…
I totally agree with you. I haven't watched the whole show, because I just can't spend all my time watching something for a tragic ending. However, I have watched a bunch of scenes and compilations, and she seems very selfish and cruel.
I don't care for melodramas, but the clips for this have been so good, and I've especially enjoyed being here and reading what everyone is thinking about the show. I'm looking forward to hearing from you all (after the last two episodes drop) if the ending is as satisfying for you as the rest of the drama has been.
How does it end? Happy or she dies anyway? Or something crappy like "it was all a dream" or something? Spoil me.
When you say main couple, you mean her and the office worker, not her and her husband, right? And then does she stay in the past and will she ultimately get cancer anyway?
Great review!! I don't like historical dramas as a rule, I was going to make an exception with this one because of all the rave reviews, but it sounds to me like I'd want to kill the FL. I hate dramas where the characters never grow out of their initial issues.
Great review, thank you for this. I love the cast, but the storyline is too dark for me, but I thought maybe I'd give it a try, but with a sucky ending, I'm just going to forget it. You worded it perfectly. In so many dramas, we have to see all the struggles that the main couple go through, then at the end they don't end up together, or don't have contact with each other for years. To me, that totally diminishes the love they are supposed to have for each other.
