lmao not understanding the nuance of Korean 1997 slice of life characters, especially in the workplace

What I mean is its location, but to achieve the aged look they’ve gone with filter. As it’s foreign location, concerned it would still look too modern etc. I didn’t think it was too strong though. Just imo.

I think because they had $$ for fleshing out the krn sets not so much the foreign one? To make it aged etc.
But I think they added it when it was flashback to 1970s home

PHJ story over GMJ? That's insane. PHJ is the reason taepoong couldn't say goodbye to his father before he died. And losing his money and staff. He will live with that guilt for life.

I mentioned ML having loyalty due to him greiving his father and returning the money. But you responded that the staff didnt have loyalty because they left. To which I clarified that staff didn't need to have loyalty when leaving.

Those staff leaving had nothing to do with loyalty, it has to do with IMF and not being able to feed their own children. It was a hard decision, don't hate on them for leaving and making a hard decision. Not able to support their own families without the money. Loyalty only goes so far, that's what 3 of them said. That's why the young one was able to come back first. And why ML had to beg Majin to come back, the connections in sales are needed. Outdated? Its 1997, thats literally how they all were, and FL is 24 wishing to be a trader in a male dominant field. This is what she needs to learn to stick up for her own self for future when she goes out to make trades etc. Plus HR department didn't get introduced until 1998.

So its interesting but HR department came into effect in late 1998 in South Korea. So I think this is what we might get too.

I think he will be, I think we will see them winning more from now on. An expert from the beginning is also pretty stupid too and gets people annoyed. So I think its been pretty realistic and good in that way.

That's a bit of a weird take I gotta say. No one's name can sustain viewership, koreans will drop anything they don't like. Are you not familiar with the big name drama on tvn at the start of the year and its ratings. So it really makes me uncomfortable how you can say this. These ratings are people who genuinely like the show and cast. And I'm actually quite proud of how its doing. Real ones will enjoy this storyline.
