I missed the Yeong-ah or Uri Yeong-i, when was that? I remember on the tree he called her darling and my wife.
LOL duh, my bad. I'm so sleep deprived from AOS.

I can't get over their IG interactions and they can't get over them either. 😩🤧🥺😭

It finished well, it didn't flop. wdym?
Yea well said, haters just means the show did well. And yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion on what they preferred to see. Just don't understand how one lack of scene = 1 star rating. Each to their own I guess.

did people find out that it was yeong's soul and not buyeon's?
Yes those present during that era (fight) do know, Netflix incorrectly translated the name to Buyeon. Dang-gu and Kim Do Ju called her Yeong in the final minutes of the episode. So they do know who she is. Perhaps not general public knowledge though.

Its still consistent with character growth and overarching themes, it didn't go left field. The ep1 part 1 scene was so well filmed with swords that people want to see that and not be open to growth of that character. Makes no sense to have her wield a sword when Naksu was created by Jinmu, its a persona that has trauma and one that perhaps years down the track she could harness and make it her own if she wants to fight. And I digress, she did fight just not with swords, in her own way, that evolved with her character and consistent with who Yeong really was.

"But I'll admit AOS still maintains its charm and the end was good finish. People think I'm hating when I'm just being objective."

And yet you scored it a 1. I think the 1 starrers are harsh, haters or JSM stans. You can't like certain elements of a show and still give it a 1 when you thought Part 1 is a 10. Most would find that jarring.

Me too. In the end the romance let me down, because theres not enough moment between Jang Uk and Naksu after they…
My post was not to show what I'm unhappy with, I was happy with the show and romance.
I'm just being greedy wanting these scenes, as a wish-list if you will.

All I wanted to see was:
1. When he realised who she was they were in the thick of battle, but afterwards when they were in Danhyanggok and they stopped feigning ignorance. I wanted both of them to be sobbing and emotional and clutching at each other, sloppy kissing whilst crying in relief. This would be cathartic and all the sweet moments at the start of ep 10 would've been even more emotional and impactful.

2. Second was similar to 1. After the final battle, when he knew her soul came back for real, I wanted a scene there, something emotional and I wanted all the cast members to witness that love aswell. Because they would've seen their Ukie finally happy and then cut to 1yr later.

3. I wanted extra scenes for the 1yr later. Have all the cast members eating dinner together with the food made by Park Jin and just enjoying time together. Again, I wanted everyone to witness UkYeong's love and also them interacting with everyone. Then they should've cut to them at the tree.

4. Also - one last playful kiss wouldn't have hurt either, hehe.

I didn't need to see Yeong sword fighting, she fought in her own way and that was enough for me. But in saying that, it would've been the cherry on top, although can't have everything.

Someone please write some fanfics like this!

I was happy to finish the second half of this show but, my rating is lower for this Part 2. I preferred Part 1.…
It was staying true to the true Light and Shadow concept though.
