Exactly ..Seol Ran Jeen has a job, and she (or her soul) left when it's done..so she gave her body (also JBY body)…
JBH born with the divine powers was left with the body, the soul is Yeong in the end as it was returned.

Am I the only one who felt this? Nakso was Jin Bu-Yeon, everyone knows.. Jang Uk didn't know anything until episode…
Their souls will always find each other when they consciously do not know. The beauty of soul mates is this not about the face. You will fall in love with the same person again over lifetimes. He didn't forget his past love, he connects with the new because of past love. He's also trying to move on with the same person after her death who is also her unknowingly.
Uk mentions it in episode 10, about not recognising each other as well.

Oh, my thoughts exactly! I'd have loved a more emotional and heart wrenching reunion. It was just too anti-climatic…
You get me! I think they were going with the tree scene as a big reveal and kind of keep the suspense of was it really Yeong in the end, but I think at that point in the episode, we don't need suspense, we knew it was Yeong from JSR and we just needed emotional gratification. And I would've loved to have seen him come back from the lake to see if she's ok and realising ITS HER!

And yes, more domestic scenes pleaseee!

But still loved the episode, they were really limited due to the 10 episode arcs. Imagine if this was 12 episodes, I just feel sad we couldn't get more drawn out scenes, lol.

Lol gyj complaining why she has to stay behind ljw ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ in Last scene
Yes originally she was going peep over his shoulder, which is lame, lol.
I like the end result though, very much like a Light and Shadow vibe.

I missed the Yeong-ah or Uri Yeong-i, when was that? I remember on the tree he called her darling and my wife.
LOL duh, my bad. I'm so sleep deprived from AOS.

I can't get over their IG interactions and they can't get over them either. ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿคง๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Yea well said, haters just means the show did well. And yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion on what they preferred to see. Just don't understand how one lack of scene = 1 star rating. Each to their own I guess.

did people find out that it was yeong's soul and not buyeon's?
Yes those present during that era (fight) do know, Netflix incorrectly translated the name to Buyeon. Dang-gu and Kim Do Ju called her Yeong in the final minutes of the episode. So they do know who she is. Perhaps not general public knowledge though.

Its still consistent with character growth and overarching themes, it didn't go left field. The ep1 part 1 scene was so well filmed with swords that people want to see that and not be open to growth of that character. Makes no sense to have her wield a sword when Naksu was created by Jinmu, its a persona that has trauma and one that perhaps years down the track she could harness and make it her own if she wants to fight. And I digress, she did fight just not with swords, in her own way, that evolved with her character and consistent with who Yeong really was.

"But I'll admit AOS still maintains its charm and the end was good finish. People think I'm hating when I'm just being objective."

And yet you scored it a 1. I think the 1 starrers are harsh, haters or JSM stans. You can't like certain elements of a show and still give it a 1 when you thought Part 1 is a 10. Most would find that jarring.

Me too. In the end the romance let me down, because theres not enough moment between Jang Uk and Naksu after they…
My post was not to show what I'm unhappy with, I was happy with the show and romance.
I'm just being greedy wanting these scenes, as a wish-list if you will.
