You know what would've stopped the fans from wanting Naksu to sword fight? Perhaps show the audience a scene of Yeong regaining memories of her torture by Jin Mu to young Naksu, how desperate she was to leave that life and how lonely she was. If we saw that, and how she doesn't want to pick up a sword again. A backstory like this would have given fans closure to as why not to expect or want that kind of assassin return.

I think alot of people's disappointment really boils down to; the set up being great in Part 2, the slow amnesia plot but that was necessary to illustrate the soulmate/will always recognise each other arc. And to some this compromised the intelligence of Jang Uk not realising earlier.
But had they had 12 episodes, then the last 4 episodes would've been stretched out and all things that people wanted to see, we would've gotten.
It makes me so sad that they couldn't get 12 episodes (part 1 should've been 18).

I think it was that both Dang-gu and Jang Uk were competing to provide the heir to Jinyowon and get into Jin Mama's good graces.

And did you see/hear, in the after party he got all the staff members a cap gift? He's so sweet, he clearly made all the junior actors feel comfortable and created such a healthy working environment.

For now both parts are the same.

I'm invested because they be dragging LJW, he's such a good actor and seems like such a good person, he doesn't deserve this. 🥺
I wish JSM came out to publicly support Part 2, after all they were her costars, her 'friends,' a continuation of her character/work and maybe all the hate would have stopped.

Hmm yes the frequency of the wardrobe changing wasn't high. But I think with him it may be deliberate and slow, because as the shades got lighter, his mental state/heart was improving too.

JSM trending is disgusting, like trend her for her work - her new movie or her play. Clicked on the tag and it has so many posts that are bitter, jealous and dragging LJW for posting IG pics with the new lead. Mind you JSM never posted LJW and avoided it, she remained aloof throughout promotions and drew an obvious line. Why would that enable him to post, like the man is a great actor and its not a credit to her or anyone. So annoyed by her fans, lacking complete maturity and respect to JSM's work and costars.
And don't get me started on the all fake accounts created 2 days ago on MDL trying to drag the ratings of this show down, like they're hypocrites. They wanted JSM to be featured in ep 10 credit pictures and yet on the other hand trying to drag the show down. Like the entire body of work still involves their fav actress because if Part 2 tanks and falls down, why would anyone in the future want to watch Part 1 with their fav actress thinking that the end (Part 2) was bad.

Exactly, that line during the wedding about marrying so that your prayers or wishes will reach the skies that you want to be together, and that your love can reach/be heard by the heavens. I thought that was aimed at JSR.

I really wish she didn't have to stay in that constellation room, and that she could somehow come out to join him in fighting on the lake (not sword, but just power usage). Then as the bird dies, we see an emotional reunion scene on the ice, where he realises her soul came back. And he calls her Yeong-ah 😭

The madness seemed too sudden for me, I don't know I didn't like it. George will never finish those books! 😩

No I meant close ups would've given me the vibes of King's Landing burning (Daeho burning) and Dany riding the dragon. Poor Dany's character being ruined lol.

And then we get episode 11 and 12 to flesh out the rest nicely.

Imagine the last 2 episodes over 4 instead. This would honestly have been soo good for overall plot and character development.

Didn't want a game of thrones dragon vibe. So I'm glad I didn't see a close up lol.
