I'm sorry, but they don't have the chemistry between both leads. I get that the drama tries to relive the 9th Princess's iconic character love and suffering. But it just doesn't feel that way. It's not easy to recreate the dynamics between Peng Xiaoran and Chen Xingxu.
Idk, say whatever you like; for me, Ren Jialun doesn't suit Peng Xiaoran.

I fast-forwarded or skipped every scene of hers and managed to reach episode 20+. The Story does get very interesting. I'm glad I decided to continue and didn't drop this drama.

Never have I ever disliked a FL this much before. It's really a struggle to watch this drama it's been a year, I kept holding on and continuing. She is annoying and boring. Still trying to finish it for the sake of Dylan Wang.

He is not your typical beautiful ML. But...once you watch his acting, he grows on you. I find him very charismatic and attractive in masculine way. To me, he's that in Mark Chao category, the more you get to know them, the more you see how handsome and manly they're in personality and looks.
